File Manager 2.11.0.20_240119 APK requires following permissions:

Allows mounting and unmounting file systems for removable storage.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an application to expand or collapse the status bar.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.

This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.

Allows an app to use fingerprint hardware.

Allows an application to read or write the system settings.

Allows an application to request installing packages.

Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

2 ★ Whenever I touch on a folder, the app tells me I need to allow permissions for the app to manage the storage device. But the tutorial does not match the screens showing. Everything I tried gave me the same message. It did give me a away to import my contacts DB back into the app. For that 1 add star. Beyond that nothing. I uninstalled it. Time out of my life I will never get back

3 ★ While this file manager is among the best file manager for android I used because of it's simple yet powerful manager, it has some problems. My current issue with this file manager, if I launch the app, it keep eating my mobile data and I have no idea what's its using for. My data has always been in local storage, not linked to any cloud from file manager so this is a concern, both data usage and privacy. Otherwise, it's a good app for managing files

1 ★ ZERO STAR.... bcoz after installing and using this app for some time.. i am now unable write/erase/copy/move anything to my SD card.. this is happened not on my one mobile . but two of my mobile are affected... while i mailed the developer.. i got standard reply.. we are looking in to the matter.. we will get back to you.. in my opinion.. this should not happen . ..

5 ★ This file manager is even better than Google's own "Files" app. It's simple sharing only requires the other device to have a web browser, making it work easily with many, many devices. It also has support for network storage, which is very convenient for me.

5 ★ Expert, and this app is for the guy thru playing around and just wants to get his files straight once and for all. For ease of use and the in depth way to deal with your drive storage and for an all around no bull file manager, I give it a 5 star review. Sweet work guys 🍻🍻🍻Cheers !

4 ★ I'm disappointed that access for Dropbox is not among the cloud storage options. However, it all seems to be working just fine so far. However, I'll test it a bit. I'm a bit cynical after the last few file manager apps I've dealt with, and the score on this is high but doesn't seem to correspond to all the bad reviews I am reading. So I'll test... soon.

4 ★ This file browser is almost perfect in every way. My only issue is that the copy function for Google Drive isnt working for me. I need to download entire folders and it wont let me. Fix that and I'll bump this to 5 stars.

5 ★ A perfectly good file manager for an Android phone - and, If you want to send files to/from your home NAS, it does the job usably! You wouldn't believe how terrible most SMB clients for Android are. It's simple and obvious functionality, but ... somehow they're ad-infested trash, have the worst user interface a geek could come up with, charge for basic protocols, or all three. This is the standard file manager for Asus phones. So it's usable by humans. Frankly, it's good advertising for Asus phones.

5 ★ This is one the best file managers around. Its strength is that the user can see their user data without seeing the whole file system of the device it is installed on. Most of the file managers that come with android phones and tablets by default SUCK!!!. This file manager is one of the first things I install with any new android phone or tablet. 5 Stars for speed,ease of use,setup,and a clean user interface. I wanted to scream with what came by default with most android phones and tablets.

1 ★ What the hell happened? This was my favorite "simple" file manager, especially for its Hidden Cabinet feature. It seemed to allow the quickest easy access, even though a thousand other apps can do the same basic tasks. Now it's ridiculously slow and will probably corrupt your files. Avoid at all costs - or just find an old version.

3 ★ Installed the app because Samsung's file manager no longer supports Network file access. Even though this shows my PC from network, there is no option for me to add my network drive to it. I know my drive supports SAMBA, but I always connect to it as a FTP drive. There is no option to add SAMBA drive either. Since I can't use it for my purpose, it will be uninstalled.

2 ★ Hi, please check the system bug in asus file manager v2.0.0.397 while using toolbar option either delete, move etc. it is closing the app rather than performing delete or move the task thru toolbar. So please check and clear this problem.

4 ★ Thanks! I needed a file manager that could create shortcuts on the desktop. When I use the menu "create shortcut" option, it doesn't do anything (please fix this). But when I use the widget, then it works. I almost uninstalled the app, but then found the widget (hold finger down on desktop, select widget, scroll to file manager).

5 ★ Never been let down by any ASUS technology. From the small well developed apps such as this, to the laptop and tablet I own. Not surprised to find this to be one of the best file manager apps available for android but wouldn't have expected anything less.

1 ★ looks really good, but I can't access my SD card. cannot find the menu referenced to give permission. I gave it permission once, why does it need another step? useless without access to SD card.
