Download the latest unTouchable - touch protect application, version 1.2, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Tools app is developed by Astratech and is easy to download and install.

Description
The blocked zones can be selected from some built-in ones, or defined in the unTouchable.txt file on the SD-card (one zone per line - see the sample file). The latter is especially useful when the display is broken, and it's hard to use the UI.
ATTENTION: in new Android versions you might need to add the "Draw over other apps" permission to the app, under System Settings -> Apps & Notifications -> unTouchable -> Advanced -> Display over other apps -> Allow display over other apps

1 ★ Works, sort of. It doesn't seem to entirely block the phantom touching, which still heavily interferes with normal use, but it's better than nothing. The single star is for the borderline malicious lack of options or documentation. I would like to try the custom zone, if I could figure out how. The sample txt the dev mentions does not exist. There is also no way to force-ignore screen rotation, a deeply stupid oversight in an app like this.
5 ★ Very useful once you get used to the .txt file. Only took a minute of trial and error. Nice to be able to block just portions of the screen instead of the entire thing. Great work!
4 ★ Good app works better then anything else out there even in its current state one issue with damaged screens though if there is any touch input in a zone it doesn't recognize any input at all. not sure if this can be fixed but that would make it perfect :) another bug/feature is with the zone a few nice features might be an simple interface for adding zones moving difrenttly relitive to rotation to reproduce have a zone in by the top ie 0,0,2000,300 when you rotate 90 degrees eather way to landscape the zone stays positioned by the top of the phone but if you rotate 180 degrees from landscape to reverse landscape it stays on the same side of the content not the same spot on the phone. i think both situations would be useful and ideally you would be able to make zones relitive to the display or the content if you want more info or help replicating let me know great work
1 ★ So this developer didn't feel any need to leave helpful instructions on how to use the .txt? And all these other bholes here who claim to have figured it out, like Greg Brown who only needed a "minute" wont bother to leave helpful instructions either? Why claim to have figured it out in the first place then, Greg? Think of the sort of people who would show off like that. How lonely they must be with no friends. Probably gearing up to go on a shooting spree at a concert just to prove something to the world that never accepted them. When I figure this out, I'll leave instructions here, like an actual normal person would do.
4 ★ If anyone needs to block area near the bottom, use last bottom number as 2000 n change rest of the numbers in untouchable.txt.

5 ★ The most practical tool and works seamlessly with fave SmartNews, Stock apps, other reading apps. It has ready to use preconfigured No Touch Zones for Left, Top, Right, Bottom of screen. PLUS a 5th DIY configurable No Touch Zone/s using LTRB Pixel Positioning (Left, Top, Right, Bottom). Don't be intimidated everyone, I figured it out fast using the example. To Dev: How about giving the LTRB data for the preconfigured Left, Top, Right, Bottom settings in the same file so we can use it as base for DIYing.

5 ★ Thanks. I have a phantom (crazy) touch line in middle screen ( before it is dead line then become phantom touch ). Use this app with unTouchable.txt config: 0,420,800,680 //left,top,right,bottom. >>> done. Good solution before replace touch screen if anyone get crazy touchscreen...
3 ★ This is a nice app, but the side areas are way too big to be practical. It really needs the custom ability to reduce the edges to a few millimeters, and also to block the entire screen when desired.

5 ★ Works perfectly! I have a small horizontal dead zone with ghost touches, only about 45 vertical pixels. I used an app called "touch test" to get the x,y coordinates to enter into the custom config file, which should be located in the root directory of your storage.
