Description
With the rate technology is advancing, and at the rate legislation are catching up (slowly) with the changing times, states are allowing digital insurance cards. Below is a list of states that currently allow Digital Insurance Cards.
Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
App permissions
Digital Insurance Card 3.0 APK requires following permissions:
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

4 ★ Snapshots come up black. There are not enough fields to add all the data for medical insurance. The auto insurance cards are nice, however.

2 ★ Good idea; however needs a lot of improvements, especially if you are going to charge 1$ for this. - Needs image selection and resizing (cropping) - Too few fields, ability to add custom fields needed. - Needs to be able to take photograph of front and back of the card. also, what is the point of securing the data if anyone can just open the image in gallery
3 ★ I was disappointed when I saw my card's snapshots in my gallery however. I purchased the app to hide my sensitive data from the gallery.
2 ★ Can't get past the PIN creation screen in order to actually use the app.
3 ★ Needs to have options for taking pictures of both front and back of the card.
