App permissions

Aromarest 1.5.2 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.

Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

1 ★ Terrible. Worst product and company. Wont pair with my phone, and having tons of constant issues. product came years after funding it. I forgot I even funded the product and didn't even know what it was until I looked it up online

1 ★ Failed Kickstarter. I posted a previous review but it got deleted. Awful, broken app. For example I set waking up time to 7am and it says waking up time begins at 8:16. Lol it starts over an hour after I'm supposed to wake up?!?

1 ★ Luma Kickstarter scam. Lamp powers off automatically after about a minute.

1 ★ Worse than the original, still hardly functions and doesn't in anyway you'd expect.

5 ★ After taking some time figure out the pairing, it actually works pretty well. I backed this on kickstarter. I use it in my kids bedroom to help them fall asleep. Now they can' t fall asleep with out it. All the features work but it take sometime to figure it out.

1 ★ The perfect end to a perfectly awful kickstarter project. This WAS called Luma, but the project quickly became scandalous and doubtful as to whether or not it was a scam or not. The app does not pair with device at all rendering it effectively useless. Broken, half-assed design. Definitely a scam.

1 ★ Updated the app, can no longer connect to either lamp

1 ★ The manual diffuser mode still doesn't even let the slider go to full strength. It also randomly shuts off before the water is even close to empty.

1 ★ Backed this project 4 years ago. I guess kudos for actually delivering something in a box. I backed two lamps for a stereo pair, can only connect to one at a time. App cannot really do anything. I can play music (out of one speaker). Nothing else works. Even pressing the lamp button on the lamp causes erratic blinking, not simple on and off. No documentation whatsoever. Hard hard fail.

2 ★ Good thing I'm not relying on the app or device as an alarm because they refuse to work together. I set up the app for my sleep and wake cycles and nothing happens. Pissed that I backed this project that took 4 years to complete and is something totally different than what I actually backed.

1 ★ I'm also a backer. I can't pair the device, so what's the point? Wish I could have gotten my money back, too.

1 ★ Wont connect via bluetooth so I cant even use the lamp. As others said, I am an original kickstarter backer from 4 yrs ago and this product is not at all what I pledged for
