Description
Here you have an accurate barometer with an elegant analogical dial.
It shows:
- Your local pressure
- The pressure reduced to the mean sea level (the value that every weather forecast service use)
- The pressure got from the nearest airport
- Latest 24 hours pressure chart
Excellent for fishing or if you are simply interested in weather trend.
You can:
- Calibrate the sensor
- Enable automatic periodic pressure recording
- Choose different barometric units (hPa, mbar, mmHg, inHg, psi)
WARNING:
If your device has not an integrated pressure sensor, you will only get the pressure from the nearest airport.
App permissions
Accurate Barometer 2.3.2 APK requires following permissions:
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Permission an application must hold in order to use ACTION_REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS.

4 ★ Use to be good. Now the ads are ridiculous. But that's not why I stopped using. Use to be able to use my sensor without giving full permissions. That has changed.

5 ★ What I really needed was a barometric pressure reading every day and this gives me that. I use it to track my migraines, I have all my triggers under control and have a good treatment program, but I can't control the weather.
5 ★ Clean. Simple. Accurate. 20 sec and I'm done. The app is the final word whether we stay home and sleep another hour or two or grab gear and try our luck at fishing.
4 ★ Great for basic use, but user interface needs improvement. Need a single-click/swipe toggle between the barometer reading & the history graph. Changing the default screen (barometer or history) on 1st opening the app would also be useful (I'm more interested in trends). It would also be useful if the history graph defaulted to the last set history period (e.g., 7 days) instead of always defaulting back to 24 hrs on open.
5 ★ Check and record the atmospheric pressure twice daily, and love the chart in the history section. The ads are acceptable to me, as not intrusive.
5 ★ Well I love to fish so I need to check the barometric pressure to see if the fish are moving that's why I needed the app I'm almost 66 years old and I enjoy fishing a lot now thanks for having this it helps me out
