Download the latest Accurate Altimeter application, version 2.4.2, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Travel & Local app is developed by AR Labs and is easy to download and install.

Description
- Altitude estimation with three different methods to be always sure to get a reliable measure, even without internet connection.
- Historical charts to see your excursions elevation gain.
- Maps with peaks' name and contour lines. Pick elevation from any point on the map.
- Pictures with impressed place name and altitude.
Altitude can be estimated:
- With satellites triangulation. Slow and less accurate but it works even with no internet connection.
- Taking the ground elevation at your current position from a global elevation map.
- Using the pressure sensor of your device (if available). It calibrates itself on pressure from the nearest weather station to improve accuracy.
As additional PRO features you can also:
- compensate systematic error of pressure sensor
- download a larger area of the global elevation map
- record altitude without opening the App
- pick elevation on the map with no limitation
- have no advertising
App permissions
Accurate Altimeter 2.4.2 APK requires following permissions:
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Permission an application must hold in order to use ACTION_REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS.
Allows access to the vibrator.

5 ★ I know I'll find this app quite useful in the near future, but for now it's kinda fun just watching the app mark my altitude every 5 min. Curious sidenote - all the "tell us more" automated questions from Google in this feedback form have ridiculously little to do with an altimeter app. I'd be interested to know what the dev did to confuse Google that badly 🥴🤪🤤 [Edit to respond to dev] Ha! I agree 100%!

3 ★ Inaccurate. Says I'm 160' above sea level when I'm only 60'.
3 ★ I never had a problem with Ac Al until today. After having not used it in many months, I notice my Android phone notification screen showed an warning: Disregard previus (sic) error message. While the risk is slight, I am treating this as a potential exploit. There are too many competing products on the market to tolerate behavior that indicates incompetent programming at best and a security hole at worst.
