Fantasy Life: Alerts + Advice 5.13.0 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

5 ★ You couldn't open the app for a bit on android 11, but even then, it sends out push notifications FAST. That's the best part of the app. I'm making moves in my league before most of the league even heard the news I just saw, and that's with sleeper notifications. That alone is worth whatever bugs they may be working through (and what app doesn't have some glitches from time to time?).

2 ★ The concept of the app is great, but it's a bit rough in the interface. The single line for text while typing makes it nearly impossible to check for typos. And once posted, there is no option to edit said typos. After clicking a notification, the app freezes and doesn't take me to the shout or news post being referenced. I love the information available on the app. I would appreciate if the app ran more smoothly.

4 ★ Some portions of the app are a bit janky and could be smoothed out (for example, when attempting to attach pictures to polls, some just don't work for no reason), but overall I love the concept of this app, the fact that it's free, and the fact that you don't have to deal with advertisements. Currently waiting for Google to approve an update to fix a constant crashing issue from most recent Android update, but such issues are not common. Just try it!

2 ★ You get alerts, great. When you click on the alert, it annoyingly just takes you to a general news feed, where you have to scroll through to find the news item you wanted to see. Sometimes you can't find it at all. Seems like an easy fix, like, this is Web 1.0 stuff, to tag an alert to the specific post it references. This flaw makes the alert useless unless you're just staring at your phone waiting for each alert and then you click immediately to get to that news item.

3 ★ I like the alerts and stuff, but a few things could make the experience more enjoyable. Letting you edit posts would be nice. There are times I make a stupid spelling error and want to fix it but my only option is to delete and re write the whole thing, and the props button is too far to the right. I have to tap it several times before I actually "hit it" otherwise, I like the app!

4 ★ Fast injury alerts, but the interface has no customization so you just have to scroll through everything. When you press a notification to go to it you are sent to the homepage which has loads of info that is not related to what you clicked. If they can clean up the interface and allow notification customization it would be a five star app. Edit: The crash issue has been resolved, the interface is better but not customizable enough to deserve five stars.

1 ★ This app is amazing WHEN IT WORKS! I have to reinstall it a few times a year to get notifications working. I just recently got the Pixel 6 and I can't get them to work at all. Delete and reinstall over and over. Settings are right. Working on my other devices. I don't get it. Might have to use another app unfortunately. Would be 5 stars otherwise.

5 ★ Love this app, it gives breaking news notices way before other apps. But, this season I'm having two problems. (1) if a news notification pops up, when I click on it, the app does not bring me to the notification. I have to switch to the News alert tab and search for it. (2) when posting a shout, I can't access my pictures. It says I need to grant permission but when I hit "OK", nothing happens. 😢 Google pixel 2 phone. UPDATE: both bugs mentioned above have been fixed.

5 ★ I only use this app for breaking news notifications, but for that it is fantastic and I highly recommend it. Customer support is also great - as you can read in other reviews, Android 11 upgrade messed some things up, but they were incredibly responsive in keeping me updated on delays in update processing (which appear to be on the Google side). Definitely download this

1 ★ Hardly works on Android. Doesn't open 90% of the time. Frozen on the very first screen. When it does work, it works just fine for a minute or two before again freezing. Force start does nothing and neither does a restart/reinstall. Yes I have the latest version. Really would like to make this my top or top 2 fantasy news/advice app but that's just not doable at the moment. Please fix the android version! 🙏🏼

5 ★ The app is great, but some update recently had caused the app to crash immediately every time I try to open it. Tried uninstalling, clearing caches, nothing works. Used to be 5 stars, but not when I can't even use it. EDIT: It seems that after some misfortune between the developers and the app store, everything seems to be working again! Back to 5 stars!

5 ★ I really love this app. I get news alerts about injury updates or schedule changes. I can submit a poll to get feedback on which player is best for that week. This app also has great weekly stats to help fantasy players make the best decisions for their teams. However, recently, the app would crash every time I opened it. This impacted me specifically as I am running the recently released Android 11. I contacted customer support and within minutes I received a human response to my feedback. They had already submitted a patch for the app to Google Play. Unfortunately, Google sat on it for 2 weeks. But the customer support team kept me in the loop the whole time. I can't say enough about how great this team is and how hard they are working to keep this fantastic app running. Thank you for all your hard work!

5 ★ The new updates are improving the app. It's getting back to the first-in-the-industry alerts standard that they had before. I still miss the missing image search function for posts though. The developers work their tails off and are extremely responsive when there's an issue. How many apps can you just @ the developer and they respond within minutes? This might be the only one.

5 ★ I absolutely love this app! I know the rating has taken a HUGE hit in the past week or so now, because of the app crashing. The Fantasy Life team has been extremely quick and helpful with responding to these concerns, and has submitted an update fixing these issues to the Google Play store nearly 2 weeks ago now, but Google Play hasn't pushed it through. In this time the Fantasy Life team has been extremely helpful through this frustrating process, and have given the best customer support ever.

4 ★ UPDATE: the crashing issue has been resolved and the app works once again! Still knocking a star off because better QA could have prevented this in the first place but it's still the best app they're is for fantasy news. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Crashes when I open it. Loved the app before the issues but can't afford to wait for them to fix it. Moved on to Fantasy Pros app because it actually works
