4 ★ As a developer, I’ve been trying to put together an app just for myself with a similar use case as this to replace my slow, manual document digitization & filing system to avoid needing to keep tons of paper & a physical filing cabinet. So congrats on this! Stack’s a really cool, slick implementation & UX, even in beta status! I haven’t used it en masse yet, despite my accumulating pile of documents, mostly because I haven’t had time, but also I’m weary of Google killing it. Please don’t!

5 ★ Easy to create and import PDFs. I like the integration with Google drive, and the concept of "stacks" (categories) to help organize documents.

3 ★ Pretty good. Needs a way to manually edit the scanned date and cost on a _saved_ item. (And any other auto-populated fields scanned for other kinds of items.)

1 ★ Scanned a 5 page work order to keep a copy for myself but now the file will not open. The app crashes back to the home screen upon trying to open a document.

1 ★ If I had the ability to import multiple PDFs at once then I would probably give this app a shot. But importing all my docs from CamScanner one at a time would be far too time consuming. So for now, I'll have to continue to utilize CamScanner.

2 ★ Great app, but the camera needs improvement, it's out of focus and it blur the edges of the pic.

5 ★ This is a cool app. It allows cropping & manipulation of documents. Since the four corners of the crop tool can be moved independently, a photo with a skewed document can be corrected, should you desire to do that. Just set all four cropping lines parallel (equally distant) from the edges of the text or, perhaps, parallel to any existing border lines that might be present, and voilà, you now have a nicely squared up document! Or don't bother with and of that and save it as! (◔‿◔)

4 ★ I love the concept and simplicity but the UX isn't there yet. My biggest issue so far is trying to enter multiple documents in a row but being kicked back to the home page every time. It feels like too many steps relative to something like a "Scan another document" button or something, especially with all the methods for creation hidden in a menu that you have to tap to open. I'm looking forward to improvements in the product as you get past the MVP :)

3 ★ I like the idea. Document management in a mobile app, but it needs work. I'm having a problem with inconsistent camera focus (Some documents are so blurred, it's useless). I have a moto z3 and I dont have the problem with other scan apps. (Adobe scanner). I also think there a lack of integration, (How do I get a pdf from my desktop to the stack?). I don't see a way to import an e-mail attachement to a stack. I'd also like to see some feature that are in document management systems, like being able to define workflows. From my desktop I see the "stack" folder in Google drive, but all documents are in a single folder. I'm not seeing how break down the categories. Thanks for the app. I'm looking forward to the next release.

1 ★ Document not found - seems many are having this issue. Revised review: This has been corrected. Stacks shows promise but has a long way to go. It recognized the vendor and the date but incorrectly showed the cash tendered instead of the amount paid. I could not find a way to edit this. It also had trouble recognizing the shape of a normal receipt though I could edit that. Would love to see this be a faster, more accurate, and intuitive process. For now end I think it's a lot easier to enter the info by hand to a spreadsheet.

2 ★ Missing too many basic features: 1. Cannot add pages between pages. Example, scan multiple pages, notice some pages stuck together. Scan those pages at the time of the scan, however cannot add them were needed in the correct order. 2. After a scan is saved cannot add more pages 3. Inability for rearranging pages. 4. Cannot save scan to another format. 5. From within the app cannot upload to other apps, nor cloud services. All the above can be accomplished in CamScanner app.

5 ★ One of my goals in 2021 was to digitize all of my documents. I spent hours scanning old documents and coming up with folder structures and naming conventions to organize them. I quickly realized though that I won't be able to keep up with future documents because scanning things as they come in is too inconvenient. This app fixes that issue! Some suggestions for the future: 1- In uploading to Google drive, make each stack a folder within the main one. 2- Add a way to specify a file name formula.

5 ★ does a great job at auto-recognizing edges and does so quickly and simply. this has become my go-to scanner

4 ★ This is a powerful yet simple and no frills way to save & categorize things like paper receipts, invoices, ID cards, etc. Really easy to navigate and use. One shortcoming is an easy/obvious way to edit captured fields that contain incorrect data. Has a lot of promise.

4 ★ I really like the concept, but I have some issues. When I see the documents on my Google folder, the resolution is really bad. Maybe option to choose resolution? Also, often time the docs like blurry. When I take photo with my S21 Ultra, it's high resolution and sharp, when when taking the shot through the app is blurry most of the time. Another thing is that I wish if I changed the file name on Google drive, that would reflect on the app too.
