- New touchpad with multitouch support (only works if the remote device is an Archos G9 or G10 tablet with firmware version 4.0.24 or above)

Description
It is compatible with all Android devices running Android 1.6 or later.
The Archos device you want to control must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the device running Archos Remote Control.
The Archos Internet Tablet must run firmware 4.0.24 for Gen10, firmware 4.0.25 for Gen9, firmware 2.4.83 for Gen8.
Hint: when connected to the Archos, the volume buttons of the phone control the volume of the Archos.
App permissions
Archos Remote Control 2.3.6 APK requires following permissions:
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows an application to read or write the system settings.
Allows an application to read or write the secure system settings.
Must be required by an InputMethodService, to ensure that only the system can bind to it.
Allows an application to read from external storage.

3 ★ I once had it working flawlessly but then now its not even detecting my tablet. I have one of the models listed. I'm baffled.
5 ★ Works like a charm on my gamepad. No other app can perform like this, exclusive for archos devices only.
4 ★ The App works well, but I'm also looking for an Remote App in the opposite way. I would like to control an other Android device with my Archos Tablet.
1 ★ Every time I try to install updates, I get an error message, telling me to remove the app before I can install the newest version. Unfortunately, it is one of the apps permanently pre-installed on my Archos.tablet, so I can't remove it.
1 ★ According to quick start guide this works with Archos PC Stick, noooo not in my experience, all I get is "No Archos Device Detected". Yes they are both on the same network!!!
3 ★ It works half. Because I can remotely do a few thing but I can't use touch because then the app crashes on the tablet also a volume option would be useful

1 ★ Fails to see my Archos 80 titanium making this app useless, another thing on the 80 titanium that doesn't work as it should.
5 ★ Easy to set up, can use all functions apart from touch screen mode as tablet has older os. Great if you are using your tablet as a media player on amp or tv.
