Download the latest OTG USB Media Scanner application, version 1.1, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Tools app is developed by Lee, Hyun-su and is easy to download and install.

Description
In addition it supports automatic scan a USB storage device mounted for OTG.
If you specify the folders to be scanned in the application and the USB storage device is mounted in a state in which return applications
Media files in that folder automatically makes the scan.
In Gear VR for s6 it began to make in order to use the OTG.

2 ★ I might be missing something because I can't read the description, but I'm assuming this apps forces a media rescan of internal and external storage. The only problem is it doesn't recognize USB OTG drives. Android 7.
4 ★ Scan/search files app? File managers can do this. Also this app not mount OTG themself. Added: my OTG flash not automount. This app not mount it. So there no folder with OTG. Only one app can mount, but it strange to use, I'm searching another.
