App permissions

Yellow Cab Halifax 1.1.2 APK requires following permissions:

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

1 ★ tried booking a cab, sat on the booking screen for 5 minutes before crashing and generating a cancelled booking. The email address used for the registration email is not from a yellow cab domain, this may not be a legitimate app

1 ★ Doesn't work. Crashes every time you try and open it

1 ★ As with other reviews, I signed up, then it tells me user doesn't exist. When I try to sign up again, it says the email and phone already exist. Terrible app.

1 ★ Used to work alright, was ok for estimating fares or when I couldn't call, now it's absolute trash. Nothing works, constantly crashes, can't even book a cab or look at fares. Would constantly cancel or double book my rides causing me to get yelled at by dispatch and cab drivers. Just don't bother.

1 ★ When I go to book a cab, it asks me to put in a comment "what do you think? " and no matter if I leave a comment or not it just loops back to the booking button. Click it and it asks again. I call, no answer. In short, I wound up calling Casino Taxi :(

1 ★ September 2019. Waited for 30 minutes for the app to book a car. It never did. Had to abandon it for the other terrible taxi service here in Halifax. These are the exact reasons why we need Uber.

1 ★ Try to register and get message account already exist. Try to reset password and get message account not exist. You need to decide guys whether my account exist or not. Delete it.
