Description
Media Remote is an Android to Android media playback remote that disguises itself as a bluetooth headset, so it works with all your favorite music apps like Pandora®, Spotify™, and Google Play™ Music.
With an Android device connected to your home theater system, you can now skip over tracks streaming from Pandora®, pause Spotify™ Radio while you take a call, or just crank the volume up when your favorite song drops on Google Play™.
Android 4.0+ users: Visit the help page for important restrictions regarding what apps will work with Media Remote. You may need to use an accessory app like "Headset Button Controller" to map the bluetooth buttons to the music app of your choice.

5 ★ Great app! Absolutely love it. Alows me to do exactly what I need. Walk around with my backpack on playing music from my tablet (Hp Slate 7) from JetAudio music player and controling it from my phone (SGIII). You have done a great job here man, keep it up! I give you 5 stars. As a feature request I would love to see a little more stability in the connection and some more options on what I can control on my music player ( I.ex, selecting Artist/album, things like that, nothing crazy) I would seriously pay more than a few backs if you put out a little more polished version of this. See ya!
4 ★ Joe, I don't know if you read your reviews, but you must continue to upgrade this app! Please, if there's any way of making it automatically sync/connect with paired devices, do it. For example, I get home of an afternoon and I want to hear some music, my tablet is docked, my phone is in my hand. I launch the app as I walk past the tablet, I open the app on my phone, they connect, I press play, away it goes. Also, Previous/Next tracks aren't currently working for me, it says please wait for device to be online. But the songs are downloaded from spotify, so I don't need a connection. I'll try it again with a connection and
3 ★ Great concept for an app, just doesn't work with all music players, Google play music being one of them. Mute works and volume control but all playback options are non functional when using a nexus 7 as the device playing music and a HTC one x as the remote. A fix would be brilliant!
4 ★ The app is simple, using an Android to control another Android's music player. I use my old phone (HTC EVO Design 4g) to listen to music with. As much of a beast my G2 is, the media volume on it is too poor. Hence why I decided to use my older phone for music
5 ★ Nothing else needs be said, it works perfectly for my use. Sony Tablet Z as server, Samsung Galaxy Note II as client. Tablet can be playing music tucked into my backpack, connected with a passthrough to my headphones, and I can control playback via phone.
5 ★ Man what can i say. I Siriusly I love the app. And now I can control the music via Bluetooth and I.can change the songs from the other phone. I can go outside or inside when I am on the living room or on the kitchen and I can do whatever I want. I love it. Download these awesome app I recommended. And so download it now!!! And you will be like it :) =) :D
5 ★ Cool app! works well with my Samsung Galaxy Grand duos and ZGPAX S5 Smart Watch. May I suggest to add an auto connect feature because sometimes it disconnects by itself.
4 ★ Wish #1: Show the title of the media playing on the remote device. Wish #2: The app loses control of the device when I switch to another app. I got this app working on a Galaxy Gear smartwatch to control Galaxy Note 1 phone.... Usually at our parties, we have an Android phone or tablet playing back the music-- this is going to save me from having to run over to the tablet.
5 ★ Fantastic connected my galaxy gear with my phone after rooting it. Its just the app I needed. Would recommend it for everyone. Except bluetooth drops out sometimes but no biggy
4 ★ one of must have app for all user who owns two or more Android device. I use it always while reading on my tab controlling my phone connected to speakers. suggestion: enable accessing controls from notification space as any music player does for easy changing tracks
4 ★ For me this app is simple, basic and works alright. What I'd wish for tho to make it 5* is for it to work in more cases. For instance, I really want this to be able to remote control video playback in MX player. Just to be able to pause or skip a video (while my tablet is tethered to the TV.) Unfortunately it instead ignores the open video player and starts music playing in a different app in the background. This may not be the fault of the app, it may just not be designed for that, but I wish it could
4 ★ This is awsome took two minutes to set up my samsung s4 to nexus 7 , it would be 5* if you could see playlist on phone over wifi? but great app guys does exactly what it says on the tin
5 ★ Excellent!! Controlling my Xperia Z Ultra poweramp music player on a galaxy gear 1.. Would buy a donate version if it existed as this was the last piece of the puzzle re setting up my watch/phone connectivity. :)
4 ★ Great app bro!! Want to make some request here... Pls make some widget like 2x2 so it can embeded into a homescreen with 5 buttons only.. Play next prev and volume + -... It will be very usefull for android wear!!
