Download the latest Katana Librarian application, version 15.3, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Music & Audio app is developed by Apps For Amps and is easy to download and install.

Description
The free version of the app allows you to test your connection and load the built-in demo patches. A single in-app purchase is offered if you wish to unlock the full feature set, which will allow you to:
- Download patches from your amplifier.
- Modify the patch parameters; includes support for all effect types; the editor also changes in real-time as you adjust the parameters on your amp.
- Access undocumented Katana features like hidden amps and multiple simultaneous effects.
- Organize your patches into groups. Tag your favorite patches, or create a set list for a live performance.
- Use the hotkey feature in combination with a Bluetooth MIDI or HID foot switch (e.g. https://amzn.to/3RqNcDY) for hands-free patch and effect switching.
- Import and export MkI and MkII .TSL files.
- Rename and delete patches.
- Write patches to the amplifier's channels
- Emulate the functionality of a GA-FC pedal (even on a KATANA-50)
What you need:
- A phone or tablet running Android 4.0 or later
- For USB, a USB A-to-B cable (also known as a USB printer cable) and a USB OTG adapter. If your phone has a USB Micro-AB connector, you will need an adapter like this one: https://amzn.to/3eLLGve. - For Bluetooth, a supported Bluetooth adapter*

5 ★ Looks great not tried it out yet as i need a cable to connect phone to amp. What type should i buy ? My phone has USB-C.
5 ★ I could not get the PC Version working properly. Plugged it into the OTG usb adapter to my phone and VOILLA....works flawlessly. BOSS KATANA MKII 50 OTG cable (phone-usb) Android Samsung 8+
1 ★ I upgraded on my Samsung tablet and at practice last night the patches would change on their own in the middle of a song, that's not going to wotk.
4 ★ If this tell you one thing it tells everything. That one main thing is google controls way to much of they have control over someone who is practicing music and they don't like it because it talks about someone that is stealing there rights they can shut them down. Now to think they have now one on there company that has ties to Other country that stole there votes you have to be kidding me.Everything goes through THEM. WELL THANK GOD I DON'T RELY ON THESE GUYS TO TELL ME. G GO LOVE YOUR SELF.
5 ★ Wow, this is the app that will save the Katana, all my previous patches appeared in the library section as soon as my phone connected with the amp, the editing is easier than in tone central as vol etc is done with sliders. The ability to edit on the fly for me is a must as a gigging musician as room sizes can affect the sound , this app makes it so easy. For what it does I would have quite easily paid a lot more for the app, you are an absolute genius, BOSS take note.
4 ★ I would give this 5 stars if it was the full version, but for being able to use this app with my Katana from my phone makes it worth it. I still have access to all the effects( i just cant fine tune them in this app) but assign the effect save it and its there!!! So if your on the fence about buying this app in my opinion its worth it. Just keep in mind it is a stripped down version.
5 ★ Essential for Katana owners, you'll never regret this $9 purchase. Boss should write a big fat check to the developer, embrace the sneaky amps/effects, and make this official. Would turn the Katana from one of the best values in guitar amps into a Spider/Mustang Killer. Would love to be able to rename the Amp models to their official names. I understand why it doesn't have TM'd names by default, but give me the option to change the name to "Bassman (Crunch)" or "Soldano (SLDN)" for instance. Would al like to be able to edit patched when not connected to the amp (offline version). Would allow me to set a board/patch, and tweak later.
5 ★ App better than the BOSS Studio PC desktop version. Now, using it on my tablet instead of the desktop version. Great fit for portability when jamming with friends.
5 ★ When Boss doesn't come through with a simple and easy to use app, this guy does. I love that you can download and share patches, creat set lists, and try different patches on the fly while connected to the amp! It's too bad the boss katana doesn't charge your phone while it's plugged in. Excellent app! Would love to see a free store / webpage be developed.
5 ★ Thank you so much for creating this app!!! After hours of trying and failing to either install adobe air(forget it) and trying to get boss tone studio to work on my mac(big sur) I found this and was so happy! Can you please do the same for the boss ME-80 pedal board? They(roland) have left us to the wind with that one as well.

5 ★ Katana Librarian seems to be working smooth as a Mosquitoe sliding on glass. I'm using an Onn Tablet for now. Just gotta follow instructions and as soon as ya plug in the Tablet to Katana it will automatically Update a Firmware Software and for about 15 or 20 long minutes DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING cuz it's Update has to happen. It made me feel like a kitty cat that jumped into a bucket fulla crawdads and was not expecting that update it made the screen go crazy on my Tablet and then I rebooted
5 ★ Wow great app, indispensable! Can't believe people's silly 1 star reviews. Less than $10 for these features is a deal. Even on my old S7 no issues. Just stick tsl files on Google Drive and then import them easily. Well done!
5 ★ What a great app! If I could add one feature it would be the ability to save certain settings to all the patches at once, for example turning on/off the FX loop to all the patches in the library.
