 Since ancient times, Caucasian Mandrake root is considered a universal healing and protection from evil spells means, as well as widely used Adygei (the people in Russia, the indigenous population of the Black Sea coast from Anapa to Sochi) in various magical rituals. Caucasian mandrake contains alkaloids hyoscyamine, atropine, scopolamine, etc., which can cause severe hallucinations.. Therefore, this plant has played an important role in ancient rituals associated with the legendary dolmens and became a symbol of all sorts of arcane arts of magic. I am very interested in the magical properties of this plant.
