Before riding, take the test. Roll awake! Roll awake is a free application offered by VINCI Autoroutes Corporate Foundation, which allows drivers to test their level of arousal before taking the wheel. This simple and rapid test based on the measurement of the reaction time to the onset of visual stimuli.

Once the test is done, and depending on its outcome, the user accesses advice sheets developed in partnership with the National Institute of sleep and alertness (INSV) on best practices to promote an effective rest before and during its path. The application also provides information on the dangers of sleepiness and fatigue driving.

With its history of testing, the user can identify periods where his arousal level is not satisfactory. The application then is useful in the planning of its trip. The test of arousal was developed and tested as part of a scientific study by the Centre for Neurocognitive and Neurophysiological Investigations (Ci2N) from the University of Strasbourg. The test:
- When the visual stimulus appears, the user must press the earliest possible anywhere on the screen.
- The successive stimuli at fixed intervals randomly, for a period of 30 seconds.
