Mobile Optimism is a self-hypnosis and self-help application which allows creation of your own custom subliminal messages. With our user-friendly interface, you possess the ability to begin the positive change you wish to see in your life in mere minutes, just by using your phone!

The messages used by Mobile Optimism (called "affirmations") are shown on the screen for 60 milliseconds. While the conscious mind is hardly able to read a line of text in that amount of time, the subconscious mind can easily read the text, which makes the affirmations subliminal.

Affirmations, especially ones made by yourself, can be extremely personal and are best kept secret. This is why Mobile Optimism stores your custom affirmations in a database encrypted with AES-256, an encryption method used by the US Government for transmitting and storing sensitive data*.

When you start the affirmations, you are free to navigate away from the application at any time, and regardless of whatever application you are using in the meantime, the affirmations will be displaying at random intervals on your screen. Additionally, while the affirmations are currently being displayed, you may click on a notification which will send you directly back to Mobile Optimism to start or stop the affirmations. Along with default unencrypted** lists of affirmations, you can engage in self-hypnotic suggestion on a variety of topics.

Mobile Optimism uses a library called "SQLCipher" to encrypt the affirmations, of which SQLCipher is Copyright (c) 2008-2012 Zetetic LLC. All rights reserved.

*Icosamatic does not want your personal data! All custom affirmations are stored on your device and your device alone. Unfortunately, this also means that the password used to encrypt the database is not stored anywhere either (again, we don't want your personal information, period!), which also means that your password is not recoverable. Please remember your password. If you forget your password, the only way to use Mobile Optimism ever again is to reinstall the app (which will delete your custom affirmations).

** Default lists are not encrypted as the default lists exist on every installation and cannot be removed and if encrypted could theoretically be used in a "crib" style attack on the database of custom affirmations.
