Make sure to keep your devices nearby and connected to power until the transfer is complete. When you choose to migrate your data, your new iPhone or iPad will create a private Wi-Fi network and find your nearby Android device running Move to iOS. After you enter a security code, it will begin transferring your content and put it in the right places. Just like that. Once your content has been transferred, you’re ready to get going. That’s it — you can start using your new iPhone or iPad and experiencing its endless possibilities. Enjoy.

1 ★ Complete waste of time. It took multiple attempts to connect, 12+hrs to transfer and after A "successful" transfer, no contacts, pictures, passwords, account info was transferred. My text messages were the onky thing that were transferred. Skip this app and just download the programs on your own. Once you login you'll get access to your stuff.
1 ★ WORST EXP. Wouldn't even connect me while trying to migrating data from OnePlus to iPhone. Below are the things I tried - 1. Forget all the existing wifi connnections. 2. Restarted numerous times 3. Kept the mobile data off 4. Kept Airplane Mode on with Wifi Enabled. 5. Manually connected to the iPhone's private network. Even when im already connected, the moment i enter the passcode it still asks me to select a wifi connection. Stupid and Waste of Time !
1 ★ I give this app 1 star for the deceptive name! Connection error? Interrupted? This thing doesn't work! My husband got me an iPhone 11, was excited because I was told this app could transfer files from android to ios total nonsense.. So many complaints and nothing being done about this! I'm still using my android and not so eager about this. You don't deserve any rating at all
1 ★ This is a huge waste of time. This app does not work. I'm furious that I will need to pay a restocking fee of $50 to return the iphone 12 that I purchased. Understand that I only made the purchase after I was told that I could use this app to move items from my android to iphone. This feels deceptive. I'm going back to android.
1 ★ Horrid trash. 2 year olds could have programmed a better app than this. The estimated time jumped from 3 days to 30 minutes and than everywhere between. I tried 6 times and failed after around 30 minutes. On the last try it got stuck and wanted me to restart the iphone and now it can't even boot it up. It wants me to do a restore with itunes. It's as though Apple wants to make sure no one will ever switch from Android to IOS. HUGE waste of time and effort. Very disappointed 🙁 😒😔😕😟😧😟😟😟
1 ★ The app doesn't work for me. Troubleshooting and support also unhelpful with many others having the exact same issue. Their ultimate advice is to manually transfer, which is tedious and leaves this app as a time wasting exercise in frustration.
1 ★ I work in the cell phone industry and use this app almost on a daily basis to transfer customers from Android to iOS. It is slow usually takes HOURS to complete. Usually have to restart the process several times. Then, when it wants to download many of the apps from the Apple Store, it forces you to say yes to each individual app. That consists of THREE taps for each app. I can only imagine what it's like for a customer to do this on their own, when I use it daily and it frustrates me.
1 ★ If I could, I'd give it zero stars bc it's completely useless. Won't connect, period. Tried with two different iPhones to make sure. May even just start from scratch. When I heard that Samsung is putting proprietary technology into their phones to limit repairs to samsung dealers just like Apple does, I'm thinking it's time we make laws prohibiting that behavior. If I had to take my car to a dealer to get repairs I would never buy that brand. NEVER EVER! I'd sooner get a motorcycle!
4 ★ I guess I got lucky and didn't have any of the issues most people are talking about. It only took me about 20-30mins to transfer everything, but the weird part is neither device was ever synced with how much longer it would take and kept jumping from 10mins to 3hrs in ETA. Didn't need to use airplane mode. My only complaint is all my group messages now have my phone number as a member of the group, which isn't too big of a deal but it's kind of annoying.
5 ★ Was worried this wouldn't work after reading the reviews but it worked perfectly and I was using my new iPhone within 20 minutes! I didn't move all my photos over because they're saved on Google but it moved everything else over seamlessly.
1 ★ Dreadful. How Apple can put their name to this ridiculous app is beyond me. After spending nearly 3 hrs trying to get it to connect when it did connect it wanted 700+ hrs to transfer the data. A complete and utter waste of time. I now have a Samsung phone full of data and a new iPhone se with no information at all. They say Apple is the future !!!
1 ★ This app is terrible. It took me hours to move over text messages and at the end of the day I'm missing a years worth of texts from several different people. So disappointed that I can't transfer messages again after the initial setup. Terrible app.
1 ★ Gives no progress indication besides "preparing..." for 5 hours, and then said "connection error" when I unlocked my iphone. First few attempts failed after ~5 minutes saying "migration error", with no other info. Tried some superstitious things suggested online like airplane mode which got me to 5 hours but can't get it to finish. Not sure if it got 1% through or 90% through. Surprised apple puts their name behind this app. Why don't they include some tips in the app?
1 ★ Tried many times, would absolutely not let me transfer anything at all from my Samsung S8 to my iPad pro. Tried over 12 times, even erased all my data on my iPad to start over. Kept saying it was getting interrupted constantly even though I had nothing else in my house going and I wasn't using my phone. This needs to be fixed asap, I really wanted my pictures on my iPad...
1 ★ If I could give it zero stars I would. Tried more than 20 times to get this app to work. Instead it shows you progress in wildy variable times (not GB), disconnects 10-15 min in and seems to start from scratch every time. Does Apple even take these migrations seriously? How exactly do they think a user is going to want to use an Apple product when their first experience is this bad? I just spent $1300 on a phone and I'm taking it right back.
