DOWNLOAD THE BEATS APP
Get connected quickly with simple one-touch pairing* and gain easy access to battery status and settings. You can even create unique Android widgets for your Beats, or locate them on a map if you happen to misplace them*. The Beats app also keeps your headphones and speakers up to date with the latest firmware, so you know you’re getting the very best Beats experience.

SUPPORTED PRODUCTS
The Beats app now supports the new Beats Studio Pro, and is compatible with the following Beats products: Beats Studio Buds +, Beats Fit Pro, Beats Studio Buds, Beats Flex, Powerbeats Pro, Powerbeats, Powerbeats3 Wireless, Beats Solo Pro, Beats Studio3 Wireless, Beats Solo3 Wireless, BeatsX, and Beats Pill+.
ANALYTICS
You can opt-in to send analytics back to Beats in the app. Analytics are designed to protect your information and enable you to choose what you share. Apple collects analytics information about your Beats app and your Beats products, such as the device software versions, device rename occurrences, and device update success and fail rates, in order to improve the product.
None of the collected information identifies you personally. The information collected will only be used by Apple to improve the quality and performance of the Beats app as well as Beats products.
App permissions
Beats 2.9 APK requires following permissions:
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.
Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.
Allows an application to modify global audio settings.
Allows a companion app to run in the background.
Allows a companion app to use data in the background.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

1 ★ It has stopped working. It tells me that my Beatspill+ has been discovered but it fails to connect. IT USED TO WORK BUT NOT ANYMORE. Considering that it cost close to $600 to buy a pair of speakers that only "connect by using the b.s. app" is an appalling example of failed customer support. Thanks, Apple/Beats.
1 ★ Great for tracking someone! Pair your device to their beats product then you can use the find my app to track them. My sister tracks her kids this way. Or what if you buy a used pair? 🤔🙅 I won't have another pair. Lol
3 ★ Not a great app. Really wish that I could just see battery levels without needing this... It did help initially figuring out how to use the controls on my powerbeats but that is it... Normally when I open it, and my headphones are connected (even in a call or listening to music actively), it doesn't register them being connected and defaults to "help connect"...
3 ★ Good product but obviously not made for Android. When updating firmware, it makes you place earbuds in case. Then when it claims to be updating, loses connection halfway through and never updates. Please fix
1 ★ Terrible app all around - involves 5 steps to connect to the headphones, and when it does connect it wouldn't accurately reflect the battery level or charging status of the headphones. Basically, doesn't do anything well enough. You would think this is a test version, that's how bad it is.
3 ★ The auto-connect to beats studio3 headphones is unreliable. Can you please do a firmware update that tells when to let go of the power button, otherwise you go straight in to Bluetooth pairing mode with no warning. I have much cheaper (by $200) headphones that pair seamlessly. I expected better from a product at a premium price.
1 ★ I have had my beats pill+ for about 1 1/2years now and the whole time I used a samsung galaxy s9 it connected without flaw no app needed. Recently I got a Samsung note 9 and I was prompted to download an app(which didn't work). Now my new samsung doesn't connect to my pill+ at all but it connects to iPhone no problem no need for an app or anything. The point is beats doesn't care if your a long time customer. They only care if your an apple user. Beats are no longer Bluetooth compatible.
1 ★ Does not connect all the time, disconnects whenever it feels like not working. Really need a refund. Drops calls etc...the app doesn't fix the issues even when it is working.
2 ★ I'm having trouble with it disconnecting. Its like every minute or so the audio is off and then on. My audiobook continues to play so im conatantly missing parts of the story. Super aggravating!
1 ★ This app is a joke. It simply does not work most of the time, and the "help" it offers in syncing with bluetooth is about as helpful as a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. I guess I am the fool for thinking that something as simple as bluetooth couldn't be messed up. Congrats you clowns, you did it! 🤡
1 ★ APP STILL DOESNT WORK AND APPLE SHOULD BE SUED FOR ADVERTISING ANDROID SUPPORT FOR THIS PRODUCT. The latest firmware update seems to have made this app 100% useless. Now I can't connect to the device with the app so it doesn't even report battery charge any longer. Just remove this app from the store - it's useless.
2 ★ Good for 1-2 months then the head phones keep losing connection with my watch while Iam out jogging so I bought another pair thinking it was just faulty, two weeks in and the same problem, the wife has a pair as well and she's experiencing the exact same problem. I must stress the problem only happens when out jogging, I've tried up updating on all our head phones but this dose not seem to work?
1 ★ The app doesn't work. It can never connect to my powerbeats pro, and only occasionally flashes up to ask me to connect when after multiple attempts, only to disappear and revert back to being unable to connect
3 ★ Helpful due to the fact that there's no instructions with the flex... There's one card that has one picture on it that tells you power🔌 1 sec. it doesn't say anything else. It also says it's firmware updatable even if it is the most current cuz I just bought it I don't see anywhere that says update or check useless other than telling me what I should have in the box AKA instructions , I KNOW I know it's a New concept THESE newfangled booklets and papers other than that it pairs already without
1 ★ I just bought my powerbeats and this app doesn't work with Galaxy Ultra and I have to keep pairing with my phone just so I can check my battery levels. This apps needs to be worked on. What a disappointment!!
