ScreenLogic Connect 2.2.0.84 APK requires following permissions:

2 ★ Have occasional issues with connecting via the app. Connecting through laptop or desktop has no issues. Uninstall and reinstall the app solves the problem 9/10 times. 3 years with minimal issues and all of them related to the android app.

2 ★ VERY dated user interface. Functions OK, but is extremely confusing to set up and use. Doesn't appear to integrate with any modern home automation systems. Overall, a terrible user experience.

1 ★ Already having issues a week into it. Just like most of the people on here having trouble with communication to the system. I need to uninstall and reinstall for it to work. My internet is connected and the system says everything is connected. I have another systems the same distance away (wifi irrigation) that works flawlessly. Disappointing after paying thousands of dollars for the system you hope would of worked.

1 ★ Agree with many of the comments below, my Wife as an Apple phone and the app is quite good, my new Android looks like I am using a phone from 1980 was one comment. It seems odd that a company of Pentair's size wouldn't recognize both platforms.

1 ★ Doesn't work half the time. Currently when opening app it says my system is found but just keeps giving the circle searching signal 🙄. This has been going on for days

1 ★ Needs Major updates! No updates since 2018! I just purchased a Pentair system for our new pool and basic things that are in the old school panel are not even on the Android app! Example super chlorinate option is not there but iOS has this. For a big big company this is not ok.

1 ★ Horrible connection! Never see the device. Have had it for 3 weeks for our pool functions ... Continual loss of signal or never connects!! The Other Lutron device and app associated with this works perfectly for the lights!

5 ★ I LOVE THIS APP. I am not sure what others are complaining about. I can only say it must be user error. I have been using this app flawlessly for 5 years. I can check the heat, adjust the heat, turn on lights, fountains, etc. It responds to every command i give it. Waiting for the android wearable version for my Samsung. GREAT JOB PENTAIR!

4 ★ Overall good app for controlling the pool. My wife has it installed on her iPhone and her version has more features and functionality. I had connection problems at first. Turns out it wasn't the app I had to move the communication base closer to the pool controller. Please keep improving and adding functionality.

2 ★ We loved this app in the beginning, but it has become very buggy. We sometimes go for days where we can't connect. We've reset the modem, the receiver, the pentair system, uninstalled and reinstalled the app and yet it still won't connect. We did not have this problem last summer. Then after a few days all is well again. Also, I do not have the same functionality on my android as my relatives with apple devices.

1 ★ 4-22-2020 Update. Today I also noticed that only 1/2 of the waterfall is functioning. Clock still not holding time longer than 12 hours. The Android app doesn't display what time the unit is set at nor provide a way to adjust the time. It can only be done outside at the unit itself. I have contacted Pentair via email today as recommended. Original Review: Very disappointed. $Thousands$ spent last week for new system. Imagine my surprise at how great the app is....for APPLE users ONLY. Terrible for Android! Research. Buy a different system. An additional auto schedule was added via the app. No idea how/when. No history tab to view changes. Equipment: O-ring always falls off pump lid. Pool guy didn't notice. Ran all night out of prime. Not that quiet. I've had to reset the clock twice so the pool&cleaner have yet to run as scheduled.Weird.BAD.

1 ★ Updated May 2020 Nothing has changed. This app looks like it was designed in the black and white age. It's been a year since they said they are "working on it". I spent $5k on my Pentair unit and this app makes me feel more like it was 5 cents it works +mostly) but the iOS app is far superior in terms of controls, color scheme, etc. The History is awful if you are trying to diagnose a problem as when you try to resize the screen zooming in or out the app doesn't behave

2 ★ Consistent problems over the past three years. Regularly tells us "login failed " check password and internet connection. Internet is connected and working fine, no changes to password. Just won't connect! So frustrating, when it works it's great, but this problem happens often. Tried uninstalling and re-installing app, but no luck. Very disappointed with this app!

5 ★ We moved into a home in 2016 and the first thing we did was upgrade the pool to pentair products. We've had zero problems with the products or the app. Yes, the app is better on iOs, but for what you need it for routinely is just fine, example . Turning features on and off, changing heat temp, etc. There is also a desktop app for windows and mac which is good for configuring. A friend of mine got a Jandy system a few years back and they did not even have a mobile app.

1 ★ Buggy app, won't stay connected. Have to reboot the interface device frequently and it's connected to the pool via Ethernet so no chance for WIFI issues. Android app is vastly inferior to iPhone version, and is missing features like Egg Timers, and Super Chlorinate mode on the salt cell. Unable to ever get status on the Salt Cell remotely - constantly shows empty information on that page. At home, on my home's network, it will load the salt cell information. This entire product line was a waste of money. Should have gone with Hayward Omnilogic and will be for the future upgrades.
