To begin using the Duffy’s Taxi - Taxi Hail application today:
• Download the free app
• Create an account (Email, Name, Phone #)
• Validate your account (via the confirmation SMS you receive)
• Enter your pickup address
• Enter your destination address (this allows us to provide an estimated fare amount)
• Book your trip (reservations can be immediate or for a future time/date)
On booking a reservation, you will immediately receive a confirmation number, along with an update when your vehicle has been assigned. From here you can monitor the progress of your vehicle as it moves towards your pickup location.
The Duffy’s Taxi -Taxi Hail application retains a history of your previous reservations (up to 30 days) for expense management and to quickly rebook the same trip with the push of a button. You may also create a list of favourite locations (Home, Work, etc.) to speed the booking process.
You can also customize your orders by selecting the number of passengers, preferred vehicle type, and preferred method of payment. These preferences can be saved to your account profile for future bookings.

1 ★ What is the point of a taxi app if they just cancel your ride on you? Left standing at superstore with a bunch of groceries. Had to wait, for more than 10 minutes but it did work the first time. That was it. Tried a few more times and got cancelled each time. Called unicity and thay were there in a couple of minutes on more than one occasion. The app is now uninstalled and will be calling unicity from now on.
2 ★ The rate "Trip complete, rate your trip experience" prompt keeps popping up, even when I haven't taken a ride. It's disruptive and annoying that the app is running in the background, using up battery life. Please fix this glitch. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and it hasn't helped.
2 ★ A lot of issues lately with mapping and notifications. I book it from my home address. Then it blinks an address not mine but close then it say address not found. The mapping shows these cars on one street and then teleports them a block backwards. It seems to have deteriorated. I used to like this app.
5 ★ Easy to use app. I like the fact that the cab number who is picking me up shows up. Ajay 377 is my favorite driver. He is very nice and polite. He is a daytime weekday driver. When using the app I've never had an issue except for the occasional driver asking for payment upfront which I'm ok with because the app gives you an estimate of how much it's gonna cost to get to your destination. Also with the app I haven't waited more than 10 minutes for a cab
1 ★ Horrible app. I tried to book a trip and twice it said failed payment, yet I had two pending payments of $20 dollars charged to my credit card. Credit is available. No trips are showing in my history or scheduled. Try working on this bug. It's a major flaw!
1 ★ I can for the life of me never understand why when I book a cab seeing 10 plus cars down the street I get assigned a driver from across the city that sits in a parking lot for 10 to 15 minutes before driving to pick me up. I understand it's not instant but a 6 minute ETA actually being 25 to 30 minutes every single time is ridiculous.
1 ★ This app is terrible, waited over an hour for a cab. Driver kept dropping ride while en route. Unreliable, charge extra charges while you're the one waiting. Terrible service. Do not use the app at night, it is a waste of time. Just call an uber!!!!!!
1 ★ Sometimes it doesn't work. Update, often the app does not work. I am unable to enter a pickup location because the app begins auto-searching and erases my text after I type a few characters.
3 ★ It's a good app, just sometimes the drivers cancel your booking, I wish they had a fee charged to the drivers for when they cancel rides. Especially even if they see other cars waiting in lots of I book with the app I expect the cab to come.
3 ★ App is much better than it used to be. Still get the odd bad bug. It kept saying that the ride was cancelled so I kept trying to rebook, and then like 4 cabs showed up at once. It was embarrassing.
4 ★ I like this app much easier then calling, and have more options if there are issues.
4 ★ Overall good app. But if you are trying to use GMAIL at first it won't work. I kept trying this app for over a month and finally used my outlook email and it worked. Otherwise it's a good app.
5 ★ I was sceptical about this app but so far it's been very reliable, effective, and quicker than calling. Duffy's is great. They seem to have more competent drivers and better customer service. Unicty can go out of business for all I care. They're terrible.
4 ★ Driver I'm with now no were near as freandly as previous drivers. Took my fifty dollars and wanted the max he could get
4 ★ Earlier this app was working really good but now suddenly it stop getting my location, it shows "missing gps location data" but my location is always on, because of which i have to manually enter my location of pickup. I tried to reistall the app but this problem is still their. Please fix it Asap.
