Key Features of the Boston Cab application include:
• Book a reservation in as few as 3 clicks
• Get a fare estimate by entering both pickup and destination addresses
• Receive a confirmation number for your reservation immediately on booking
• Receive notifications including vehicle number once your reservation has been dispatched
• Monitor the progress of your vehicle on a map
• Create a list of favorite addresses and assign a custom name for each
• Select an address from your list of telephone contacts
• Specify the number of passengers, vehicle type and preferred payment method
• Review all reservations you have made over the past 30 days
• Provide feedback related to the application and/or service you received
• Call Boston Cab with the push of a button
To begin using the Boston Cab application today:
• Download the free app
• Create an account (Email, Name, Phone # and Password)
• Validate your account (via the confirmation email you receive)
• Login to the app (Email & Password)
• Enter your pickup address
• Enter your destination address (this allows us to provide an estimated fare amount)
• Book your trip (reservations can be immediate or for a future time/date)
On booking a reservation, you will immediately receive a confirmation number, along with an update when your vehicle has been assigned. From here you can monitor the progress of your vehicle as it moves towards your pickup location.
The Boston Cab application retains a history of your previous reservations (up to 30 days) for expense management and to quickly rebook the same trip with the push of a button. You may also create a list of favorite locations (Home, Work, etc.) to speed the booking process.
You can also customize your orders by selecting the number of passengers, preferred vehicle type, and preferred method of payment. These preferences can be saved to your account profile for future bookings.

1 ★ I was double charged on my very first trip. I called and emailed to let them know a week ago. Still no response. Guess I'll have to dispute with my credit card company. And now when I try to use the app, it tells me that I'm outside of their coverage area. Southie and seaport are no longer covered by Boston cab?? I doubt that's the case.
1 ★ Called for a pick up. 45 min later, call again to see if they forgot. Dispatch was rude and said I would get a cab as soon as one was available, but couldn't give me an estimated time as to when a driver would be available. Waited another 30 min, still no cab. Called again and was hung up on. This seems to be how they operate. I've tried them numerous times, always the same outcome. Don't bother to call them. They'll never show up.
1 ★ I reserved a cab 2 hours in advance. No cab showed up. I checked the application status. it was in "assigning driver" status. I called customer service. They told me that there is no reservations under my name and offered to make a new reservation. When I asked how do I know that driver will show up now (if I have already reserved a cab 2 hours ago unsuccessfully)? She mentioned that I have made my reservation only 1 hour and 40 minutes ago?! When I mentioned that she just told me I did not make any reserv
4 ★ Nice and simple, works well. A little rough around the edges and it could use more features and a more recent map of Boston. I look forward to the development of this usefull app!
1 ★ Cab was 30 minutes late picking me up, and I missed a flight home. As an out of state student I am...beyond furious.
1 ★ I downloaded and deleted this app once before because I thought it was average and didn't need it anymore. Boston cab, however, decided that you can't get price estimates online. Now it won't load past the title screen.

2 ★ Seems like nice features, but barely worked 1 out of 4 tries. On the first try, our can was assigned. While we waited, out status changed to "no show," meaning we weren't there to pick it up. We never even saw a cab! On the next 3 tries, a cab was never assigned. The app looks great in theory, but save your time and make a call.
3 ★ This app has been wonderful for when I have ordered cabs in the morning but is completely useless after 8 pm. At night you are better off walking to the nearest major street and hailing one instead.
1 ★ I have tried to get a cab using this app and i wait and wait and wait and after a while ill check and it says request cancelled. Also when I called the man who picked up and spoke talked to me in a rude manner. This has happened more than once. Will never use again !
1 ★ I can't get it to respond often and when I do it flags every address as invalid.
