3 ★ They started pushing notifications...which is fine but when you click an article in notifications it never takes you to that article, it just takes you to their front page. And half the time I cant even find the article after searching for a bit.
1 ★ So, firstly, this app really should be just a sports app. More than half the 'Top Stories' are sports. Why bother having a separate sports page or Mlive Sports app? Secondly, I get notifications for stories & when I click on them it goes to the main page & then I can't find the article. Useless.
1 ★ You get a notification for an article and it is no where to be found in the app. Now all notification are for paid content. Not worth it.
1 ★ I can never find the article that I get a pop up notification for. It seems if I'm getting notified, the app would take me directly to that article.
1 ★ Junk. Online but stops telling I'm not. Probably some intern telling you it doesn't work yet everything does because 'can't be my fault '. Typical aa. Deleted local news. Nothing but propaganda news now when it decides to work. Deleted.
1 ★ If you are into local sports, like REALLY into local sports, you will love this app. If, however, you are more interested in the important things happening in the state, you're going to want to look elsewhere. I wanted news and politics and found myself out of luck. Seriously, how do you have categories for pro sports, state sports, high school sports, AND local sports, but not state politics? It. Makes. No. Sense.
3 ★ To hard to read the newspaper on a phone. Works better on a laptop or computer screen to read articles/and events.
3 ★ Although my Android phone is connected via wifi and I have a good 4G connection, this app shows a "You are offline" message every time I open it, starting with a recent update. Really annoying.
1 ★ Update - the app still doesn't open the story featured in the notification. The app does not open the news article shown in the notification. It just opens the front page listing the latest articles.
1 ★ Looking for tiger news not all news
2 ★ I hate that it resets my selections about every 2 weeks so if I want to quickly pull something up, I have to go back and do it all over again. Now, there is NOTHING under the selection tab. Also, when I get a push alert and select it, it doesn't take me to that story. I have to go hunt for it. Provides local news but not without annoyances along the way. Almost not worth it
2 ★ Downloaded to keep up with what is going on in my area and Michigan in general. The biggest fault is the push notifications don't coincide with the news feed. I hit the story and see everything but the item I am looking for. Or I have tapped on stories and the story before it pulls up. As I read other reviews I see the same issue
1 ★ What happened to the ability to select a particular region's news? Today, selecting a region on the phone app was no longer available.
2 ★ The app is good for news I suppose. However the stories never seem to change when you want to see a specific region's news. The worst part about this app is that it will literally take 5 minutes for the stories to load at times. Sometimes a shorter wait, but always a wait.
