5 ★ Even without paying for an upgraded package, I was able to have the virus removed from my device. Being a paying customer definitely gives you more protection, but even without upgrading, your devices are still safe using AVG. After having a virus and not knowing what my next step was, AVG, i felt it was the best at solving the problem and assuring me out was cleared, and continues to keep me feeling safe.
5 ★ Out of all the security apps I've used, this one does everything I need it for. User friendly, it helps my emails, texts & calls with scams & malware protection. I may pay monthly or annually. It includes a very nice VPN. It has a vault for ones photos! I'll never lose another photo or video again! There's a lot more to. The updated version is even better! It's NOT expensive. It really does everything. I have no need to go anywhere else. I give it 5 stars. I highly recommend this amazing app.
5 ★ I bought the pro version & I use what I want from it. I have Lookout as well and I have had them for 13 years. I use their VPN because it doesn't mess with some of my apps like the VPN included with the Pro version. With it, I'm shown, on Google Maps as sitting in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Africa. It cause any issues by not using your VPN. I have gone into settings and stopped it from deleting blurry and alike photos. It still does the deep clean of all the apps that I have photos save
1 ★ I signed up for AVG Ultimate for 2 PC's, 1 android phone and 1 android tablet. Probably the most frustrating experience I've had, especially since I switched from McAfee which is another jump off the ledge invite. Activation code for AVG does not work, every time a try a feature I'm told to upgrade even though (I thought) I paid for the Ultimate Version. I'm going to offload all 11 attempts and anything else to do with AVG once I get my refund. Doesn't work on any device. Maybe the free version?
5 ★ Very good app for protecting your device. It let's you know if u have entered a suspicious site and it warns u about it. And it's really good with cleaning your phone because it manages your storage really well and I haven't had any problems with the app the only annoying part is the ads that pop up. But other than that it is a really good app if you want your device protected.
1 ★ Don't waste your time. This app is actually Avast! And they change their product to better fit play store politics in order to try to make money!!!! I paid for the year subscription ultimate and still have to pay for the "Cleaner and VPN." What's up with that??? Also, yes, they are actually AVG and they aren't covering the antivius! That's what the have two different applications that we know about! I canceled my subscription and it was for a year. So legally I'm still up under their subscript
4 ★ I'm giving this app 4 stars. I rarely give apps five star reviews I like it in my personal opinion. It's one of the better anti virus protections out there. If you're going to buy premium packages, it's better to go with the ultimate than with the premium. Other than that, the free version works just as well. And it's almost like the premium version. Except that you don't get access to regularly scheduled scans and you have ads. Upgrade wroth.
5 ★ I've always been a fan of AVG. I like their software integrations on the computer and have used them for a while. They also have the benefit of family plans so multiple users can utilise the same services, and recently I had multiple subscriptions and AVG customer service quickly helped me to combine the subscriptions without any additional cost and it extended my subscription period. Huge plus now that they have mobile versions too! Highly recommend if you value your security and privacy.
2 ★ I just scanned, 3 unresolved issues, click on it , takes to the page upgrade??? What unresolved issues? Before I had one , but now 3? I don't want to upgrade!!! Plus each time I click on application to scan, it takes me straight to upgrade,? And then from there go to scan finally. I was going to go lower but application seems to do decent job This is very annoying
5 ★ Been using the app for free for years and got a new phone. Decided to try out the yearly thing and discovering It is well worth the money for everything it does. For the yearly fee, this thing is checking everything on your phone and telling you how to go to any app or whatever to set up your security and privacy. Pretty surprised how much stuff is open out there for everybody to see.
4 ★ I have been using AVG for about 5 years now. I have it protecting all of my devices that are compatible with it. Its really decent for a free anti-virus, wifi/data scanner and junk cleaner. I just don't like how it seems like its pushing you to purchase or install other "tools" some that aren't even made my AVG. I keep an eye out for free trials from them and that way you can test out the full product as well. Its the most usef friendly free anti-virus imo. Peace and love
5 ★ I JUST got everything installed, literally within the last 2 minutes. I haven't had any time using it, so don't feel as though I have enough insight into this app to make any decision as to the workings of it. I'll be glad to offer another review later on, after I've had a little experience in it. I will say the download instructions were very clear & concise,it also increased the speed of my device within minutes. That's a plus for me. So far, so good. This from E-The Newbie. Easy to use, SUPER
1 ★ I used this app for a few days, but had to remove it to save my phone. It caused everything to slow to a crawl, so that I could barely type. Also, numerous apps locked up or ceased working, including Amazon and BlueSky. I've used AVG years ago on my desktop, and had few issues, but it's clearly no good for this phone.
5 ★ The free version is good, but I need to upgrade to the premium security, but I can't do finances online anymore since I was hacked. Too much of a risk... I wish there was something to be done about that... I had premium before, and it was great, did everything, and kept me protected constantly. 24/7.
2 ★ It does offer some protection, but at least once a week I get a message saying AVG has been turned off and I need to turn it back on. I know this other users are also having this issue. I kind of wonder if the company itself isn't switching AVG off just so people will pay attention to it and possibly buy more products? Or is there a major flaw with this product that somehow it keeps getting switched off? Either way that's not good. I'm going to start looking for something else.
