Zosi Smart 3.8.0.ZG APK requires following permissions:

Allows an application to read the low-level system log files.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows mounting and unmounting file systems for removable storage.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows an application to modify global audio settings.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows applications to change network connectivity state.

Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.

This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows an application to read or write the system settings.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows applications to disable the keyguard if it is not secure.

1 ★ Incredibly unreliable...what a mistake it was to buy a Zosi "security" system, as it offers no security, since you never know if it's going to work. It randomly turns off the push notifications, and "forgets" to take a snapshot, even though the "snapshot" button is selected. When you do get a notification, good luck on seeing what it is...most of the time the system goes into search mode, and does nothing.....so DO NOT BUY A Zosi System. I WASTED MY ABOUT $600 FOR ABSOLUTE BRAIN DAMAGE

5 ★ I have installed and used many brands of security dvr's and camera models, and the one that stands out as being the best is the Zosi brand. Easy to install and work with as well as this app. There are certain things you are unable to perform on the app, but it's ok, those are the extra fine tuning that need to be done on the dvr itself. I even had to contact customer support and technical support, and they have been the best of help. This app meets my requirements and expectations.

1 ★ Tried to view my recorded video, loading is slow, and message comes up: "Only one user allowed to playback." I am the only one looking to playback! How do I fix problem? Update: They got issued fixed, but I ended getting a large memory recorder. I did get same issue with "only one user" on the second unit. It fixed itself - maybe I just go in-out too fast?

5 ★ Had it about 6 months and so far a good app, no complaints at all. Anything that usually seems to be going wrong is just a result of the WiFi connection to the camera. But it seems to have a very good rebound to the connection. I've had many WiFi cameras and usually if there's not a problem with the app there's a problem with the device. So I feel I'm winning when I haven't had either with this one.

1 ★ On my Samsung Galaxy everything great. Now on my REVVL 6 5G doesn't want to add not connect the device to the phone, it say everything is connected right, but the second step to add the device won't do it. It spins and spins but won't hit the 💯 Plus the cámaras shows and won't let me click to see the imagen closer nor I see a playback. Horrible situation. And my Internet is great. Need help!

1 ★ It was functional for a long time then started constantly asking about the country I live in. Annoying but the camera feed worked. Now it's totally not working at all. Won't even let me log in but somehow still wants to know what country I live in! Requests for password reset go nowhere. Tried to re-register but it won't even let me past the first question which is: what country do you live in?! Ugh!

2 ★ Irritated with the update this app doesn't work with just a local network with connection to the DVR from the phone app, should not need Internet when you want just a closed local network connection. So had to revert back to an older version of the phone app just to use it properly. Done updating your app when everything it updates is half way working. Probably look into a different system with better software.

2 ★ Before the last 3mths I would have given a 5 Starz. The app sucks now. Not getting notifications anymore. Always reconnecting and telling you, you can't connect without any explanation. I reach out to the developers company say to uninstall and reinstall app. Same thing happens. Some parts of the recordings missing. Nothing is wrong with my system/Cameras/or my internet. Whatever information I get to solve the issue doesn't work. For the past month or so app will not connect to wifi.

1 ★ Not sure how or why this developer created an app that does not work. The app does not do what it says. The ability to open the app and view the cameras is a basic function and they have not gotten that right at all. Cameras dont load and the app does not send notifications consistently. If you are thinking that i am doing something wrong, mqybe. But not on 4 different devices. Yes, I installed the app on different devices as a possible troubleshooting option and it still does not work.

1 ★ Update 8/6/2020: throwing the entire system in the trash. Should've gotten the damned Night Owl initially, but thought I'd give this company a try. The android app never works. Epic fail.... This app is absolutely worthless. it worked for a couple days but now I keep getting black screens on my phone. The only way I can look is from the TV other than that if you're away from home and want to see if anything is going on good luck with that.

4 ★ Update to my previous review. This app has had several improvement including the color contrast, faster, and motion detection. Good Job Zosi Team!!!! Works good but take up a lot of resources during operation, and a little slow. The color contrast is off light blue background and white letter are a little difficult to see in small format. Black letters would be better for light blue background in small format.

1 ★ I have the wireless NVR for my security camera. One of my cameras stopped connecting after over 24hrs of being connected and working fine. I downloaded the app the see about fixing the issue but the app doesn't even tell you how to work the app itself. I had to guess. Granted I'm familiar with electronics so it didn't take long, but the app could be much more user friendly. Still haven't been able to fix my damn camera connection, after all the time it took to put it up I'm not doing another.

2 ★ The updated ui is much appreciated. Unfortunately, I have issues. 1) The app doesn't push notifications even when that specific setting is turned on. 2) It hangs when re-entering the app and it closes itself or I have to close and open the app again. 3) I can't view cameras via my phone data!! 😫😫 How good is this when I'm away from home?

3 ★ Mediocre app made worse by recent update. The "polished" user interface is harder to use and less functional for video playback. Other glaring issues like the time being off an hour still aren't fixed. You must manually refresh the cameras every time you open the app. The motion detection notifications from the app are incredibly poor, missing almost all motion. I have the DVR configured to send me text messages instead. The cameras are great and the DVR is pretty good, but this app is sad.

2 ★ The app needs soo much improvement, I don't even know where to start. Comming from Q-See app, ZOSI is like something made by kindergardener. One thing that needs immediate improvement is the real time immediate video feed. Another big issue is the quality of the photo/video through the app. If I snap a picture through my phone, the quality os absolutely horrible even in the best weather conditions. However, if I do it physically through the dvr, the quality is perfect.
