1 ★ The app was working fine all year for me, until the latest update and now I have to switch between the different cameras in order to get them to fully load a live view. If I don't do this they hang at different loading percentages and nothing sorts it, app reset, DVR reboot etc. It's not an internet issue, it's an app issue. Shame as the cameras are decent and a good step up from my last ones.
1 ★ I have two cameras. One downstairs and one upstairs. They have never worked, or appeared, on the app together. When I'm in the house the original one downstairs works. The one upstairs goes offline. When I'm away from home, say a state away or a half a country away, the one upstairs goes online and the one downstairs goes offline. For this reason I have not purchased any other Annke cameras. Let me be perfectly clear. I love your cameras, your night vision is excellent. Software sucks big time
2 ★ When I go look at an individual camera, then go back to the screen that shows all the cameras at once. The cameras seem like they don't want to load up..I would have to go out of app then come in....and then it finally wants to show live..I've tried logging out and back in
3 ★ Do NOT use products. Annke updated their app and now i have to sign in again yet the camera wont accept the new app. If that isn't frustrating enough, it won't even accept my account info because now it asks exclusively for my cellphone number to log in. Never used that before. Used to work good. Ill be deleting it as the strangely enough, the camera stopped working to. Doesn't even power on now like what the heck?! To bad for them, im out!
1 ★ Just noticed that my annke app was auto updated to 4.5. 0.0730(the latest one) and I can't view my cams anymore. I have to keep hitting refresh in order to view thumbnails of the cameras. When i click to view them it wont load. At very rare occasion one will be loaded while others not. This update is not good, for me anyway. Even on annke website they advice not to update to this version.
4 ★ VERSION 4.4: Newest version causes delays in loading the CCTV feeds. Plus a slow advert on each app opening is ridiculous. The app needs to be available as soon as possible to view feeds after selecting it. EDIT: New 4.5 update means the feed opens much faster after loading the app. Thanks for addressing this.
2 ★ Notification function does not work. Issues with playback function, I get "Video playing failed. Error code:(260015) most of the time. I can play the first few hours recording in a day. Then I get errors when I drag to a time after 5/6am onward video recording.
1 ★ Struggled with this system for years. Cameras are OK but constantly reset themselves and announce the fact at random times with a loud voice prompt. Impossible to keep them locked to anything other than Chinese timezone making reviewing recordings a nightmare (unless you're in China). Cameras crash if you rotate them too far remotely. Now the latest app update tells me cameras that I know are working are offline. Unreliable and useless. Time to find a replacement.
5 ★ I read few stars comments, mostly its technical issue must solve with support, which is prompt. I have been using this app for my 4 businesses in Australia for 5 years. No issues, time to time I needed some support to solve some issues. I just installed new one for my friend's shop. It's perfect and full of all functions. I now need more support to fix multi screens playback, which new one have by default. I hope its going to be as easy as it always been. Best product.
2 ★ Too slow to get to cameras. I used to be able to quickly see why my dogs were barking and now it is faster to walk to the front door. The ads slow down the experience. Please consider finding a different way to do the ads or even charge me for the app. Thank you!
1 ★ QR does not work on the app. App does not connect to the device. App does not work. Must reconfigure the modem to attempt at connecting, but the QR and app does not work. This is the worst possible app and hardware available. Do not waste your time unless you have an IT background. Even then, the app is not compatible to the hardware. Thank you for wasting my time and money.
2 ★ This new update is horrible. The cams take very long to load even on the local network. If you double click to view 1 cam from your home screen and try to return to the home screen, viewing fails or takes forever. A refresh is needed for the streams to restart.
2 ★ Not an easy hookup. Still can't view remotely or even change network settings. The directions are far from clear and not easy step by step as advertised. The system itself is great with a great picture quality but what good is it without any of the other features I paid for? Customer service is also not easy to reach or find. Very unhappy with app and ease of use of system among many other issues.
1 ★ Latest update 4.5.0 July 2020 is AWFUL, go back to the previous one please. Playback on a phone device in portrait mode, the navigation bar is not below the view screen, it covers the entire bottom half!! It's also jerky if you try to scroll forward and backward. And even with notifications on, you don't get notifications!!
2 ★ We got this system a few months ago and after finally getting it set up it suddenly stops working on our phones. Pretty much within a couple days after the update on the app. I noticed it said it was offline when it was connected perfectly fine with light verifying it and all. I tried everything from rebooting to resetting to starting it over to reinstalling the app to using a new ethernet cable and it still says offline. Disappointing since this was our way to keep am eye on things.
