GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. The exam for session 2018-19 will be conducted in Feb 2018. Aspirants must go through the GATE 2018 Syllabus for the GATE 2018 paper that they will be appearing for. In all the papers, there will be a total of 65 questions carrying 100 marks, out of which 10 questions carrying a total of 15 marks will be on General Aptitude (GA).

Papers with codes AE, AG, BT, CE, CH, CS, EC, EE, IN, ME, MN, MT, PE, PI, TF, and XE, will have the following pattern

Engineering Mathematics – around 15% of the total marks
General Aptitude – around 15% of the total marks and.
Subject of the Paper – around 70% of the total marks
Papers with the codes AR, CY, EY, GG, MA, PH, and XL, will have the following pattern
