Colleagues,
we substitute teachers. We are opening the schools every September while traveling in Greece and leave behind our families, we generously we have received the hope offered to us and we believed in a better future. We entered the tunnel and just wait for the light, leaving our fate in the hands of others.
After the false promises of appointments and thousands of dismissals of our colleagues to come, we live in a deafening silence. Let effortlessly developments to overtake us, raising his hands high. the "do not change anything" became the slogan. It became a way of life the "resignation" and bitterness. "Nothing will be changed .."

Colleagues, it's time we be changed. To become the "other". Those who would open the way. Those who will protect our future, our schools and our students.

It was the right time to create a team that will unite us and will help us to start our struggle. A collective vision and a common goal. A Deputy National Teachers' Association, independent of parties and personal interests. To operate based on the common interest of each colleague to sensitize and strengthen the role of substitute decision-makers. To secure and defend the educational and occupational status of colleagues and those who support us and rely on us.

How can we allow the removal of the teacher from the Day School? Ie converted to all-day paidofylaktiria since without considering the educational needs and safety of students?
How can we let tens of thousands of refugee children outside schools and indifferent to their integration into the educational system and society?
Why we tolerate each year to replenish ourselves and to cover as alternates to over 3,500 organic gaps?

Colleagues, if not now, when? Now is the time to join our fists. Now is the time to decide if our silence made voice. Voice can tell you a lot and will drag them. Otherwise it will remain silent forever. Deafening silence ...
