Lost Android 4.0.177 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Marker permission for applications that wish to access notification policy.

Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.

Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.

Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows applications to change network connectivity state.

Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to modify global audio settings.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows an application to request installing packages.

Allows an application to request deleting packages.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

5 ★ This is the only app you need to keep your phone safe. I have been a loyal AndroidLost user for years and it is incomparable in its ability to prevent my phone from being lost or stolen. I wish that Google would stop messing with the code that makes some features unusable. Thank you Theis Borg, I am so grateful for this app and you are awesome!

5 ★ Brilliant app, been using it for years... wouldn't own a phone without it. The number of dumb comments here is astounding.. I'd hazard a guess that the majority of these people would have trouble opening an envelope.. 🙄

5 ★ I don't understand the negative comments here. This is a genius app that once helped me find my phone that almost lost (it dropped down on soil from my bag miles away). It's also free, with many helpful features in it, what can you expect?

5 ★ This app is great. I used it to find my wife's phone when someone stole it, and got the phone back. Currently play protect flags it as "possibly malicious." Probably because it let's you remote control the phone. I'm not sure what the issue is with play protect, but after using this product for years I do not think it's malicious.

4 ★ Awesome app I can now keep track of my phone and have peace of mind. I just wish there was some way to hide the SMS handler so I don't have to worry about it getting deleted if the thief finds it on my phone. I also noticed that the app doesn't show me any call logs or recent texts (will give 5 stars if those issues can be fixed) Keep up the good work!

2 ★ The app commands aren't working right anymore, or they don't work at all, from the web login. My family has used this app for years, to keep our personal phones protected and to keep an eye on our childs phone activity, and now all of a sudden it's all just stopped working. Any reasons for that which we can be made aware of? Because we really don't get it...

5 ★ Love this app! My son's phone was stolen right out of his hand. He called me from my daughter's phone to let me know. I was 1,000 miles away. I was able to track the phone, get a picture of the guy who stole it, track it to the Boost Mobile store where the guy sold my son's phone to the guy working there, and get a picture of the guy who bought it. Ex-wife drove to the store and demanded the phone back. Have also used it many times to find our phones when they've been misplaced.

5 ★ This app is good when you lose your phone. Can do wonders. The only issue it has now is that when you lose your phone, you can't use another person's phone to control it due to some recent Google security policy changes that won't let you sign in to your Google account on a different phone. I had to use a laptop to sign in to androidlost. Com. . Not the dev's fault though. The only solution I have is that you add your Google account to your spouse's phone or someone close to you before you lose your phone! Then if you lose your phone, you can use theirs to help locate it.

5 ★ Google keeps pushing for forcefully removing more and more features from this app, which is very annoying because otherwise the app is extremely useful. All those who rate it 1 star should first read the explanations on the forum!! I would really love it if Google created some "whitelist" of specialised apps like this one which really NEEDS all these permissions and system functions.

5 ★ This app is great, I never had an issue with it that could not be solved by reading the website. Btw: The creator of this great app is paying fees so you can use the app for free! I advise everyone to become a PATREON member of Theis. You can help cover a part of the monthly costs for the server traffic. (I am not affiliated with him in any way)

3 ★ 1) smshandler app doesn't work for sms. getting call list works. 2) sometimes it won't connect and needs re-registering. this is a problem if the phone is with the thief 3) camera produces loud click sound and silencing the sound only silences the media sound. but the camera uses the ring sound. 4) Won't take picture when screen is off. when screen is on, the pics get taken all at once. Thing is last time i lost my phone, i can't know exactly where it is located, cuz camera doesn't work
