5 ★ I've been happily using the free version for years, and finally decided to chip in the well-deserved $ to support. Upgrade to paid was easy, without any reset/redo of my existing setup/preferences.

5 ★ Used for a few years now, always worked very well, very flexible, many options.

1 ★ Apex is just awful. the newest versions show you incredibly intrusive and annoying ads unless you pay them a monthly fee. It is extortion, a monthly protection racket. moreover if you have the last good version, 3.3.3 with 1.1 pro key, they will update it automatically unless you are very careful. they did this to my phone last week and it took me hours to undo the damage and get my phone back. This company is not ethical. Never do business with them!

1 ★ Old version was great. I paid for it! New version sucks. Didn't ask for it, having to go through a bunch of hoops to get rid of it. I have the apk for the old one. Another one bites the dust, I assure you the original devs are long gone, and with them left their care about you having a launcher that works. Seriously, this update wipes all your settings and leaves you with a blank screen. Very useful, NOT!!!!! YOU GUYS SUCK.

5 ★ I've tried many other launchers and Apex has the best combination of features, performance, stability, and level of customization. I've encountered a couple of bugs, but a launcher with this level of customization is bound to have a few. It's by far better than other launchers that I've tried. I will contact the developers to try to get the issues resolved. The relatively small bugs that I've encountered don't detract from the fact that this is an impressive launcher. Much thanks to the developers.

3 ★ Not exactly sure why the ability to have drawer tabs keeps on getting randomly added and removed with each update, but I want it to come back and stay put. Also, kindly make the timing of updates user-controlled. Finding out all your settings have been wiped by the latest update first thing in the morning before going to work is a fairly traumatic experience...

4 ★ I have been using apex launcher for years now and I love it. Amazing things to have on the system that were available before and some weren't. 1. An option that allows you to transition between screens using a 'random' mode that allows a different transition to be used with every scroll. This feature is available on most launchers. 2. I miss the multi screen view that allowed you to view every screen at once when you pinched, now you have to slide L or R.

1 ★ An update messed up my settings YET AGAIN!! This used to be a great launcher, but I've wasted hours this year, cleaning up settings and being frustrated by updates. It's customisable, yes, but what good is that when customisations keep going poof at the least convenient times?! It's happened too often for me to have any sympathy left for the developers; they either don't care or just don't know how to write a reliable app. Stay away.

4 ★ Everytime after I customized the arrangement of the icons in app drawer, I have to restart the launcher in order for it to show the customized icons. If not, they would revert to their original icons.

5 ★ LOVE THIS LAUNCHER! Still my favourite. I have had rooted devices for years. I try all the options available when something new develops and there are many many ways to customize a rooted device. I always keep coming back to Apex after trying something new. They just don't stack up against Apex IMHO. Much easier for me to use gestures since I love a clean home page desktop. No icons. Just my wallpaper. Super easy. Thank you and please add more gestures as I know it can be done. Just an abs

1 ★ The launcher itself has loads of trackers, so many I cannot count

2 ★ No way to add icon packs all at once, just 1 icon at a time!? Doesn't have built in icon search, so finding individual icons is hard (ADW does). Folders in app drawer have uselessly small icons & the open folder can't be moved to a useful 1 handed position. Other options missing that ADW supports: "indexed fast scroll" for app drawer (only 2 layouts here!), triple tap gesture, swipe gestures on dock icons even if swipe up for app drawer is on, a swipe action to allow opening a folder.

1 ★ Used Apex for years. But today, I tried to open my browser, and was forced to respond to an ad for a browser by apex's developers before I could continue with my browser. Instead of saying, "recommended"... It said "recommand". Sorry, but the launcher should NEVER hijack the user experience. So after years of using Apex, it's over. I hope more people have this reaction, as well.

3 ★ A great launcher, but there is quite a few things that need to be added/changed: - Sometimes Apps aren't at the same time as before without me doing anything - not enough folder style options and missing the option to only see the apps in the folder and not the ones in the background - When I activate Notification badges, some app icons will have a bad resolution afterwards - using certain app open animations, and using quick gestures like two finger swipe down, they still open from the bottom

1 ★ Installed it and liked it at first. Then my home screened started changing on it's own. Icons on home screen and dock were constantly disappearing. Home screen settings and app icons would also disappear whenever I switched phone to power saving mode and back. Restarts also failed to replace the home screen that I spent time setting up. Would give them 0 stars if I could. Back to Google launcher for now. Not sure why it gets so many stars.
