Ruai TV is a local television in West Kalimantan. This television station focuses on broadcasts on Pontianak cultural shows and local news. Ruai TV is based on Jl. October 28 No. 25-26 Siantan Hulu, Pontianak.

Ruai TV is one of the television stations established by indigenous peoples activists. In West Kalimantan, Ruai TV is known as the Dayak television. In Indonesia, several local television stations were established by activists, but on the way the television station was bought by a large television company from Jakarta. Ruai TV is one of the local televisions that continues to grow.

It was first launched on July 7, 2007 with regional coverage in Pontianak City, Kubu Raya and Pontianak Regency. Ruai TV was originally founded by the Pancur Kasih Struggle Movement. TV Ruai grown into a local television with valid after getting Provider License Broadcasting principle for 10 years in 2011.

At its launch, Ruai TV only broadcasts for 2 hours in one day. As time goes by, the airtime increases. In 2009 Ruai TV broadcasted 4 hours a day. In 2010 Ruai TV added broadcasts for 10 hours. Since 2010 Ruai TV has received a temporary IPP and in 2011 received the IPP Principle. And in 2013, Ruai TV added broadcast time to 16 hours a day. Starting in 2013, Ruai TV has been broadcasting using satellites, thus expanding its audience coverage through Palapa D and Telkom 4 (TEST TRIAL 2019). With broadcasts using satellites, now Ruai TV broadcasts can reach all of Indonesia.
