Description
Wind Compass is simple to use—just set your location and the app will show you current weather conditions. No fuss, no configuration, just quick & easy weather reports.
Wind Compass Features
• Select from several Wind Speed readings: miles per hour or kilometers per hour; knots, Beaufort Wind Force or even meters per second
• Select Compass Magnetic Declination, either True North or Magnetic North
• Select Temperature measurement to display Fahrenheit or Celsius
• Toggle the Wind Indicator from “Blowing To” to “Coming From”
Weather Forecast Features
• View current temperature as well as estimated Highs & Lows for the day
• Check times for sunrise & sunset, even see "First Light" and "Last light" times
• See a 24-Hour Forecast as well as 7-Day Forecast showing: time, estimated temperature, estimated wind speed & direction, and what the chance of precipitation is
• Look up historical weather data to view weather conditions for specific dates in history
Custom Background Settings
Customize your experience by selecting from the many different background types: vibrant colors, map backgrounds, rear-camera overlay, and even color gradients that dynamically adjust from warm to cool tones based on the temperature of your current location.
BONUS—Wind Compass always points North, so you’ll always know which direction your facing, whether inside or out.
Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

4 ★ Works great for the little info I need. None of the web links in the app work which give the impression someone doesn't care or the app really isn't supported. Is there an option to get the app without ads? Is rather throw you a couple bucks to not have ads hitting my phone. The ads aren't really in the way. I just have no need for advertisers to be getting my info.
1 ★ This app is totally USELESS. It appears stuck on "Locating..." even though Google location services is on. The app only displays a moving compass because BOTH the needle and North indicator move together so there is no wind direction. The app does not display any numbers whatsoever such as temperature or wind speed. Do not waste your time with this app.
5 ★ Just what I was looking for. I live in a very windy place and love to play disc golf. If it's not too much trouble, would you be willing to make a widget for speed and direction? Just like the display currently used but small and constant for my lock screen? It would also be nice if clicking it would lead to a forecast of speed and direction for the day as well as where the data is coming from.
1 ★ At 3 different times in the last 4 to 6 weeks I've tried downloading the app and each time it says failed to download data. Used to use this regularly, but give up now.
1 ★ Trash app doesn't work all it shows a black black screen saying location it's taking way too long for it to connect to your guys server.
4 ★ I used to appreciate no ads popping up. But now its each time i open it. Will be uninstalling it. But I like quick accurate temp and wind.
2 ★ It's hard to read. Sometimes, the numbers are tiny, and it has a difficult time getting data.
2 ★ When I first downloaded this app it was perfect I loved it. After two weeks of having it, I try to get wind speed and gusts it says failed to get information. It sucks not liking it

5 ★ Gives accurate projected weather. The wind speed and gusts are accurate as well. Much needed for the area I live in. The north western Rocky Mountain front.
1 ★ I used this app for years and was very happy with it until lately when the games started to auto install. I have removed Wind Compass as a result of auto loading games.

1 ★ Worthless app. It can never find my location. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Still doesn't work. And I foolishly paid for it.
4 ★ I'm an RV'er, mostly staying on the Oregon Coast and I use this app a lot and find it very useful and dependable.
