Description
This app is for Medicaid members in Georgia, Iowa, Maryland, New Jersey, Tennessee, Texas, Washington and Washington D.C.
With the Amerigroup mobile app, you can:
• Log in easily and securely with Android Fingerprint
• Find a doctor, hospital, pharmacy or specialist that serves your plan
• Search for free and low-cost community resources
• Always have your member ID card with you
• Get important notices about your benefits
• Check your symptoms with our symptom checker
• Call a registered nurse (RN) to talk in private about your health anytime, day or night
• Manage your prescriptions. Order refills, track your shipments and view your pharmacy claims (if applicable to your plan).
App permissions
Amerigroup 1.6.4 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows an app to use fingerprint hardware.
Allows applications to change network connectivity state.

1 ★ Everything I've had to do with Amerigroup has been not only bad but it has required 5 times more attention along with needing to get the coverage that is in my plan. It took me 3 months and 10 phone calls to find out why they wouldn't authorize a prior authorization request for my dentist. And my dentist sent the prior authorization request FOUR TIMES. AND AMERIGROUP STILL WOULDN'T APPROVE IT! The only reason was because the company thought I had my original dental plan which I upgraded.
5 ★ If you're trying to find a provider this is the same as the website and does the exact same thing in the convenience of an app. Anything further i haven't done and doubt i will because why would i need to log in for? Honestly theres no need. So for provider search its perfect.
1 ★ It does not work. I am a new subscriber to Amerigroup/Medicare and I tried to get them to fix the problem and got sent on a five different number chase. And the app still don't work!
5 ★ This App does not work ... Nothing has been done to correct countless errors. My suggestion is: DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP ... IT IS A TOTAL AND UNMONITORED DISASTER AND STEALS CLIENT INFORMATION
1 ★ Hate it. Harder to use than original. Cannot save password on login page. After login, app crashes during search mode and you have to begin again. Who was this app made for? Certainly not members who require quick, easy access to their health data.
1 ★ Just downloaded the app and it wouldn't take my password from my online account. I changed my password through the app to the same one I have online and I still couldn't login. The password disappeared and only the username was present. I was able to download the card online so now i will have to uninstall the app
1 ★ Horrible! This app needs able of work to be better. It crashes constantly. I can't update and save my information. It always says "oops. Try again in a bit" so annoying!!

5 ★ Amerigroup is the number one Managed Care Organization available. This app is very informative, it offers so much. You have access to medical and pharmacy claims, it makes finding a provider very easy. They provide a nurse helpline 24/7 to field any questions you might have, in regards to you and your family's health.
1 ★ App won't accept my login so I can't do anything with it. My login works fine vía the website. The app just keeps returning me to the login screen.
1 ★ The app would not accept my information after numerous attempts. The app is useless.

1 ★ Tried to put in my acct number, which contains a letter. Would only accept numbers. Frustrating to put it mildly!
