1 ★ The app is old tech, and not very user-friendly. Constant issues signing on, and a headache just trying to start a virtual meeting with the provider. The biggest issue though? The only service they really provide is medication management, according to one of their physicians. If you need any kind of paperwork (accommodations, FMLA, etc) they don't do that. The weirdest part of that is that there is still a whole list of meds that they can't even prescribe. Trash app, with a trash business model.

5 ★ I know I left a review a few months ago, but this app is a lifesaver, especially for mental health issues, its the easiest way to talk to a therapist there is, most people hate going to mental health clinics for many reasons, this eliminates all of that hassle, the therapist I'm seeing is incredible and has genuinely helped lower my anxiety and have fewer panic attacks, I've seen a few different therapists in the past and never had one as good as the one I have now

1 ★ This app is going downhill. Tried to submit an appointment and there were no available slots until December 16, 2021. I then tried to message their "digital receptionist” in the app to confirm if that was accurate and got an error saying the message couldn't be sent. Makes the app pretty useless as I can't wait 11 months to see a doctor.

1 ★ I was forced to switch to this teledoc app due to my insurance switching applications. My previous teledoc worked just fine, no issues. When you're really sick and unable to get an in-person doctor visit, Amwell makes sure that you're also unable to schedule a virtual appointment. For some incredibly ridiculous reason, it never matches you with a doctor - it just endlessly says it's searching for a doctor. If you're sick and need to set up a visit - this app won't do that.

4 ★ It's nice. I like it. One thing that I didn't like was that they didn't charge my insurance even though they said they took it and asked me to put in the information. Maybe they take it for "prescriptions" but not visits? Anyway ended up paying $80. I mostly did it to get an exuse off school. The woman who helped me was very nice and friendly. She seemed "sharp" when i spoke with her (brain is "plastic") I "urge" people to be careful because they seem to be quick to "prescribe" "pills" though.

1 ★ Good luck, I've literally never gotten an appointment. I get to the waiting room, wait 4 hours, then see noone. It also won't let you upload photos, and then you get rejected for appointments for not having photos? Pointless.

5 ★ This option is a life saver. I can seek help before my symptoms are extreme- and if needed, I am directed for emergency care. The check-in process is efficient, and insurance is accepted. I can't drive and would usually delay care. With Amwell I see a caring professional, am assessed, and provided with next steps and a prescription when needed for my flare-ups - without finding a ride and wait in a Dr. office. I am very thankful for this service!

5 ★ Great for when you are unable to get in with a doctor I have had nothing but wonderful experiences and all issues have been resolved using this app🥰💯

5 ★ Today's visit was smooth. Doc came on. We discussed my systems. Came up with a plan. The doctor was very nice and listened to my concern. He took me seriously. I'm thankful for that. Then we hung up. Very smooth 👌 I loved the video visit. Did not have to leave my home. Which is nice because when you're sick you don't want to go out. Thank you Barbara Fults

1 ★ I give this app and the medical providers a ZERO star rating. You can have virtual appointments BUT no matter what problem you are having , you will be told you need to see your provider. Rude disrespectful and a total waste of time. I Have used this app twice, my insurance told me to use it. No good at all. BOo Hiss hiss.

5 ★ Doctor ( Erik Wells) I believe that was his name. He was outstanding. So knowledgeable,spoke to me like I was a real person not just a number. He was very discripted on let you know what to watch out for. Just all around nice people skills.,Thank you Doctor Wells. Rachel kraut

3 ★ Works most times. Doesn't always connect to devices which are only inches away. Alerts are shut off, but they persist despite any and all settings - super annoying. I have to either turn sound or phone off which is highly inconvenient.

5 ★ Absolutely excellent if you are on Medicare and have needs that aren't covered or convenient, this is for you. It is ridiculously hard if not impossible to find a mental health provider on Medicare, everyone accepts Medicaid, after I went on disability and was forced to go on Medicare I couldn't find anyone for months, the only downside is they can't prescribe controlled medication, but the visits and urgent care doctor visits are all free on a lot of Medicare advantage plans

5 ★ It's very helpful since it's hard to get into the doctor office unless you are "sick". Alot of offices don't do same day appointments and you spend the whole day there for a 5 min visit. This app saved me so much time and stress. Thank you to all the provides and staff to make this possible!!

1 ★ DO NOT DOWNLOAD APP My initial review: Great visit with no wait! HOWEVER since this post, I'd like to add that when I had a followup question re: RX, I was unable to contact anyone. Even tho the option to message your provider is there, there was no provider or other address to message. ADDITIONALLY, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP unless you want CONSTANT pop-up ads on your device. 😠 So I've changed my 5 stars to 1 as there are other options.
