1 ★ Took forever to get it hooked up, now it wont connect it keeps saying wrong user or password, nothing has changed. Junk!
1 ★ I can't get passed user name & password. It won't allow me to move passed this. The default info doesn't work. It won't allow me to change it either. I'm sick of this. Customer service isn't any help. This is the biggest waste of money!
1 ★ Pain to connect cameras. I already have them installed & working with the reg. (non-cloud) App via WiFi but for some reason I need to connect to a separate app to switch to the Cloud service & in order to connect your WiFi camera you have to use Ethernet for 1st time setup. GIVE ME A BREAK! I did this once already and now my cameras are on WiFi. I'll stick to accessing my SD card. I'm not using their Cloud service if they're going to make me hook up all my cameras via Ethernet for setup AGAIN.
3 ★ Not that easy to use. Finally figured it out. Here's the problem...you need different names for the cameras, different passwords for them, AND to log on. And then to make it more confusing....you end up with TWO apps. Cameras are working great, just a hassle to set up and use.
5 ★ So Far it has been Great 👍 I dont type alot for reviews but seeing all the negative reviews just baffles me. The cameras are very easy to setup and the apps work flawlessly. I read the reviews and just smh head that people are so incompetent. I have tried others and so far these are the best I've tried and for less. These work great 👍
1 ★ Sooooo aggravating. I used the other app to connect my cameras. I just assumed this app could pull info from the other in order to capture information for the cloud. Nope, you have to go back and scan the codes again. Good luck if the cameras are remote or mounted on a roof.
1 ★ Terrible . you need to enter a name, username, camera name, camera token, camera channel name, email address, wifi name and to then each of them needs a password which all have different requirements. It's impossible to remember it all
1 ★ Couldn't figure out why it wouldn't add camera as after scanning QR code the app screen would go blank and nothing! I dont have time to stress over this junk thats what happens when you don't buy brand name and from a reputable company!
5 ★ I Like this security camera app, resolution is good. I can find the videos that I need easily.
5 ★ I have had my 2 cameras (IP3M-941B) for a year now and am quite pleased. I can't find other brands that offer PTZ and dual band for anywhere near the price Amcrest sells them for! I highly recommend Amcrest cameras.
5 ★ The interface is pretty straightforward and the connection process is simplified with a QR code on the device. The application requires a monthly fee for cloud storage.
1 ★ There is no way to update your storage plan from the app, but if you go to the URL using a browser the app opens. So you need a PC to update your plan. The reliability is inconsistent, alot of times I get "refresh failed" messages and cant view my cameras. Alot of the video when I try to look back on it is all black and I can't view it. No time stamp on the display. Still records all of the sound even if you turn the mic off. All your conversations in your home will be recorded
3 ★ All good except the camera disconnect from the app and can't view it. Need to reconnect
1 ★ Like others on here, for the first few months the camera worked fine and then the camera wouldn't connect to the cloud and was only viewable through the Amcrest non-cloud based app, and now after changed the password for our wifi the camera doesn't work at all. It won't connect to anything even when I try to hook it back up using ethernet. I called tech support, which is awful and was told tough luck. Don't buy Amcrest cameras, they are cheap for a reason.
4 ★ its cool, once you figure out how to set it all up, that is, hopefully I can catch the psycho ex bf of mine, scratching on my car now! He has this strange addiction, it would appear, and he gets off At on vandelizing my things, it's so strange. Now I'm hoping to get the hard evidence that I need, so that I can put him in jail where he belongs, beings he seems not able to stop this nonsense!
