App permissions

Amber Weather Elite 4.7.7 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Permission an application must hold in order to use ACTION_REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

4 ★ I've tried them all. This is the best weather app I've found. The widgets are a little tricky to use. You have to install them all, use each one first, then use the refresh one, and click on the magic wand, and look to the bottom, and there will be a wheel to 'spinç to choose a widget you want

5 ★ I Love this app, but on my current new phone SAMSUNG GALAXY S20 ULTRA WIDEBAND (UW), the live weather scenery doesn't change from day to night or the current weather conditions. Also I would appreciate it if you would add the types of moon🌙🌚🌕🌘🌗🌖🌔🌓🌒 that it currently is, also I would appreciate if you would add an easy to view live weather conditions and movement map, because I'm not someone that understands the symbology that those meteorologists are trained to understand.Thanks CHUCK

5 ★ For me this weather app works perfect. The Temperature and wind are accurate. The hourly forecast is is accurate. The Background weather photos are nice, maybe they'll have more weather photos when it gets updated. Keep up the good work. 👍

1 ★ Disappeared from my screen. When I went to reinstall it, it stays won't work with go launcher and to update it and there's no place to update anything, neither amber weather nor go launcher. Never had issues until now. Can't even contact support. These apps nowadays are a complete joke.

5 ★ awesome. weather app. I live in a rural area and have found that this app is even better than our countries dedicated weather service. The weather radar in particular is consistantly more accurate than any other that i have tried... and ive tried alot, including all the big names. Great work guys. keep it up

1 ★ It has very cool widgets but lately a lot of them are crashing, "space & home" and "Christmas" can't seem to keep them working, what a shame, such cool moving widgets. Can you fix? I have a Galaxy note 8. Thanks!

1 ★ Does not always show my current location, most of the time the location shown is within 50 miles. Location setting is turned on in my phone. Always have to type in current location in order to get weather updates.

4 ★ Overall very informative. Radar map hard to read. It seems to be broken down more for weather folks, but very interesting to look at. I do like this one a lot.

5 ★ Seems to be okay. As far as I know it's accurate. Though today the app is crashing so I had to change the widget. Trying to locate the local weather today and it's giving me options and not the weather so hoping that that adjusts itself soon. I still look good up I guess.

5 ★ It s good , i don't know how accurate is , but i think this app is better than most of other,, weather app should be simple and only show weather conditions whit the nice images of the desired city,,, and don't be so complicated with other information ... weather breif is a good feature in this app , thanks.

5 ★ For an accurate up to date weather forecast, you can't beat the Amber Weather and Radar App. it's the best one that I have tried and rely on an hour to hour daily forecast. Among other great info.

5 ★ Great! Love being able to view not only my city, but where friends and family are as well. I did request to stop one aspect, it stated I would not longer receive, but it still shows up.

1 ★ Cannot install this app on my Galaxy 10 note nor my galaxy A51 with the updated Android and I've had the pro version for the last 4 years cus of the variety of the widgets it had but even with the VIP add on, ad block, and 2 other amber apps I just wasted 15$ so that when I hit VIP access to widgets it just keeps asking for a redeem code. I've never had this issue in the last 4 years. What exactly am I paying for? If I can't get access to the widgets I'd like a refund please

5 ★ I've used this app for quite a while and have found it to be very informative as well as accurate. I installed this app. about 2 years ago and it still remains to be an excellent choice. I don't care for the pop up ads but I understand why they're necessary. It remains to be a 5 STAR CHOICE.

5 ★ Truly great weather App. Many fine features, including high/low temperatures, precipitation, sunrise/sunset and more. I highly recommend it!
