Description
Using naloxone is not a substitute for emergency medical care. Always get emergency medical care during an overdose or suspected overdose.
NaloxoFind lets users register as carriers or use the app to find carriers in an emergency. If a carrier is nearby they will be alerted when any nearby naloxone request is made. The app allows carriers to quickly see where the emergency is and get directions using their smartphone. If the requestor has entered their phone number (usually done on app install, prior to the emergency) the naloxone carrier will also receive the number and can call the requestor.
NaloxoFind is currently in an open beta period until there are enough carriers registered in each area to support finding Naloxone in an emergency.
App permissions
NaloxoFind 3.1.13 APK requires following permissions:
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to access extra location provider commands.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an application to read from external storage.

1 ★ tried to register,refused to identify my prescription. how can we help if we cannot register? 5 of my friends tried to register and had the same issue and gave up. sad.
2 ★ It's not compatible with my device??? It's a Note 5. I'm not sure why this app isn't compatible. I think it's a great idea but it has to be available to everyone. I hope it gets fixed. If it does I will participate. I DO carry Narcan/nalxone UPDATE! I upgraded to a Note 9 and my phone is now compatible with the app and I am registered!

1 ★ No nalaxone found in downtown Chicago, with multiple MAT programs in the area. Not up to date.
