With Anyplace TV Home Edition you can use your Android phone as your remote control, navigate and search for TV listings, and schedule your PVR when you’re away from home.
Anyplace TV Home Edition also supports watching Live TV channels at home, using your Rogers Internet, over Wi-Fi.

To take advantage of Rogers Anyplace TV Home Edition, please log in using your MyRogers ID. To get started, visit Rogers.com/MyRogers. You will need the account numbers found on your invoice. Add your accounts on the “Account Registration” section under “My Rogers Profile.”

2 ★ Not able to use it now. The time is 17:00 and the app shows the time as 18:00. Had no problems before. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalled it, cleared cache and data, Same problem. :(
1 ★ You should be able to watch TV anywhere, as long as you have high speed. Whats the point of only using it in the house, might aswell watch tv. And it always freezes, fix this!
1 ★ Not a stable app. Regularly crashing after playing for a couple of minutes. In addition, you are unable to cast or screen mirror. I would advise to stay away from until Rogers put the effort in to fix issues. Very disappointing, as it is a great idea. It's even more sad that Rogers is actively promoting this app.
1 ★ Decided to give this a try again on my Motorola XOOM running KitKat. I had given this app a single star for a previous version and one Honeycomb. Unfortunately the poor rating still stands. I am able to finally log in but whenever I attempt to play live TV I get a 1202 error telling me to log out and log back in. After doing that I am still getting the same error.
1 ★ The service seems to be down a lot. When I open the app I'm not able to auto log in because it says my username or password is not right. If I try the next day it'll work fine once the service is back up. If I'm able to log in then sometimes the video just won't play. When the service is working then it's great. I just wish I knew what was going on when it's down. It's very frustrating when the service is down. Also, I tried to watch the news while on vacation in Florida. Nope. The service said it won't play videos unless I was using my own internet connection at home. Now that's extremely frustrating.
1 ★ Crashes constantly. Video and audio are out of sync. Video quality is poor with constant pixelation. I shouldn't have to "close" the on screen instructions every time I open the app.
1 ★ Horrible. There should be an option to give no stars. Can't watch anything on the tablet.
1 ★ As usual Rogers rises to new levels of incompetence. I've tried this on many android devices and an iPad. It sort of works sometimes on the iPad. Otherwise 100% garbage. Hasn't worked properly for TWO years. I keep trying it in the foolish hope they will actually update it and make it workable. Search Rogers Apps and look at the ratings. Do they have anything with even an average rating?
3 ★ Same like the other version. Now from several day or a week or more is working again. There are shorts moments that it opens and got stuck very fast.
1 ★ Save your devices memory and just crank up the volume on your TV, you'll have better results. Constant crashing or errors.
4 ★ For some reason, I decided to try the tablet version on my LG G5 (with 6.0.1) smartphone and I am pleased to indicate it works. I have only used it in front of my PVR but it works quickly and accurately. It even places the red dot in the recorded item in the app TV listing. It take a while to learn but it is worth it, if you forgot to record a future pgm while away from home. If Rogers can make it a little more intuitive (and rename it to mobile devices), I will give 5 stars ... a first by me for Rogers.
1 ★ This app doesn't do anything. You can't watch TV anywhere, and it certainly doesn't schedule your PVR properly. What a waste of time.

1 ★ App telling me I'm not connected to the propper internet speed or my home wifi? I have high speed internet, it recognizes my Rogers PVR. Frustrating.
1 ★ UPDATE: I Saw they finally added an update so I tried the app again. On my Note4 phone it was painfully slow. On my Galaxy S2 tablet I got the same Service Unavailable 226 error I've gotten for the last year. I'm sorry to say that the developers are not doing something right. How Rogers can continue to support their efforts is beyond me. This app crashes continuously under Marshmallow 6.01. Also, channel selection for tablet is very limited. All in all, over the last couple of years, it has been rare that it's worked well, if at all. Rogers which advertises this app as a sales feature, should be ashamed.
