AliExpress 8.113.8 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows applications to change network connectivity state.

Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows an application to read the user's calendar data.

Allows an application to write the user's calendar data.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows an application to change the Z-order of tasks.

Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.

1 ★ Very happy with the app. Saves you money, if you don't mind waiting for it. Edit: reducing to two stars because when sending messages through the app, it is impossible to find a modified picture, like the one that marks what is wrong with the product or part of it, and the message center is impossible to find. 2nd Edit: down to 1 star as it consumes tons of data. If you have a limited data allowance, it will use it all very quickly, especially if you have a quick connection.

1 ★ The return/refund/dispute process is painful. Don't buy anything expensive or that you really need to work from this app or website. Also the app is slow and difficult to navigate to such basic things as seller chat, shipping tracking, and refund status. It's easy to get to the cheesy games that are inexplicably built in though, so there's that...

1 ★ The worst shopping app ever! It was almost a month, and maybe make 1 warehouse and have sellers stock up there so your orders don't all come separately. That's a major inconvenience, especially if you order 10 things. Shipping is a nightmare, never updates, and it is inconvenient that you have to do your own researching for that. It's not worth the aggravation. And their points program suks. Talking to a representative is like talking to a wall. Never resolve nothing. It's not 14-day shipping.

2 ★ Had to cancel an order because at check out, it didn't show the same number I did order. When you add them to the cart, they don't show up. At check out, you find more items than expected. Or later, showing up like unpaid. Could not find out the tracking number. It is difficult to navigate or find the links you are looking for. Too much advertising stays in your way. Can't search by price.

1 ★ This was a terrible experience. I ordered items going on 4 weeks and still haven't received them. I filed a dispute for the items and was denied a refund. Logistics delay on all items except for one. On one item, it says completed and delivered. I won't be using this app again. This is my first and last experience.

1 ★ Deceptive Practices with this Company: Beware of price increases in your cart. When looking at items to purchase I add several items listed at $1.xx for example to my cart. However, when viewing my cart the same items will jump to $6.xx . Bait & Switch from Day 1. Also, clicking on an item of interest from the main page will show a low price. Only for the buyer to find out that the seller has listed multiple items in the same lot-and the pictured item of interest is really 3X as much!

1 ★ Deceptive pricing...There's a general problem with this app in that there are many many products with deceptive pricing, where the item will be listed as a low price but then when added to the shopping cart it will have a price that may be three or four times more than the listed price. Very troubling and time-consuming to actually find a item that I need. Because I'm constantly adding things to the shopping cart and then finding the wrong price.

5 ★ Great deals, much less chaotic than temu. There is usually a coupon code that appears when you log in, but that's it. They're not screaming at you the entire time on the app, and you're usually able to search for items in the "deals" page. In my opinion it is also much more trustworthy than Temu, it is run by Alibaba, which is a large reputable company in China. It is very safe to enter payment information, and I don't need to worry about it at all.

4 ★ I'm starting to get the pop up ad or screen page glitch every few seconds. It looks exactly like the one that has the orange button, once tap on the screenandgoes to the login screen with different login apps. It's starting to get really annoying when trying to read the descriptions and browsing through the products. Please fix this annoying pop up error glitch. It does make me frustrated and don't feel like getting on AliExpress app.

1 ★ I have ordered from AliExpress numerous times now. Some times u get great stuff, some times u get some cheap BS that looks nothing like what's advertised. But the worst part is, at least 3 times my order has never been sent and I've had no choice but to cancel it. If u r gonna let seller's on ur platform, then u r responsible for them. They shouldn't be allowed to offer a sale price, and then never send the order so u have to go back and pay full price. Or so they think u will anyway.

1 ★ One star max for any website that forces you to use an app in order to access some kind of feature. For this it was tracking, allowed only in the app. I already have a general purpose app that handles everything. It's called a web browser, you idiots. Also, my spam emails went up like 300% after I bought a series of items from AliExpress so they can't really be trusted either.

1 ★ App is OK when things go well ; better keep fingers crossed. The marketplace is a generally a total mess because no rules set to sellers. Wrong terms, stupid photoshopped images etc. Inbox spammed with useless commercial offers = hard to retrieve important messages with sellers. The worst, in case of problem, only contact = CHATBOT! If raising an issue, the Chineses don't understand anything to it and you eventually loose your money! Never seen such an incompetent & irritating customer service.

1 ★ So far, this app has a dysfunctional interface. To try to get to review an item takes multiple steps and to go back to your profile after requires navigating forward, not backward, which is unusual. It's easier to use on my PC. It gets confusing lumping parts and sets of products together as 1 listing. I thought I was ordering a set, because the price was lower, when in fact they are individual parts. I have not gotten the promotional price of anything yet for being a first time user.Deceiving

1 ★ I have no issue with it. The problem is with vendors claiming to be located in and shipping from the U.S. I have ordered the same item from two different "vendors" claiming to be located in the U.S. and able to expedite my shipment via FedEx. They charge my credit card and never ship the order. They don't say anything or string me along until the shipping deadline expires and the order automatically cancels. Getting a refund is a nightmare. Don't trust them. Vendors are in China and reply late

4 ★ Been using about 10 years and thought I already wrote a review. There are multiple stores in the app, so make sure you check other stores before you order. Delivery of your items depends on how fast it's shipped. They did improve the shipping time and currently tries to deliver in 3 days. The downside is that if you receive damaged or defective product, it will cost you more than you paid to ship back. Definitely check items once received.
