Description
WARNING:
Some features require Pro mode (an in-app purchase) but Trial mode does not block them at first and you're given time to test them. Trial is absolutely IDENTICAL to Pro so don't buy Pro if you think that something will be changed.
WARNING:
On Android Oreo (8.0) there is a new way to add shortcuts on the main screen and the Launcher automatically adds a small Shortcut Creator icon to the right bottom corner of any shortcut icon. I've found only one workaround for this - add from widgets. Please check the related how-to video on the first page of the app.
Features of Shortcut Creator:
- ability to create shortcuts on local files, folders, applications, settings, contacts and messages.
- use an additional free component for creating shortcuts on switcher on some settings and also composite mode switcher.
- support of native widgets which can be used as a container for a shortcut.
- ability to re-use already created shortcuts in the History feature and add shortcuts from other apps.
- organize all your shortcuts in the Collections database with ability to export/import selected shortcuts.
- the system can automatically set up tags for each type of shortcut; for apps it also can add the app category; the user can easily add any other custom tags.
- flexible layout and appearance system for File Browser and Collections dialogs.
- manage your icons collections and import a new icon collection from zip archive (Pro mode required).
- select images from different Android galleries and rich crop functionality for creating a new icon from the selected image.
- parse themes for some popular Launchers and provide ability to use their icons (Pro mode required) and wallpapers.
- app has not write access to internal storage and sdcard and works only in its private area.
- support tablet devices.
Currently the app allows you to buy Pro mode only. This mode provides following benefits:
- Import icons to the icon gallery.
- Use icons from themes.
- Add sub-collections in the Collection database.
- Export shortcuts from Collection database (but import is free).
- Removing any ad (if it will be added in the future) and other annoying dialogs.
Required permissions:
- Reading your content on SDCard is required for selecting some local file which will be used as target for a shortcut.
- Reading your contacts is required for selecting some contact which will be used as a target for a shortcut.
- Install shortcuts is required for core functionality.
- Internet access is required only for advertising and is not used in other parts of the app.
On Android 6.0 there is a system ability to block access to your local file system and contacts – the app takes this into account and handles all cases correctly.

4 ★ Guys the most amazing feature is the folder viewer. But you gotta work on the interface. Make it modern. Right now it feels like 1990s.
2 ★ It was great app, now for shortcuts there is info "not enough permission", and no way to set it correctly.

THERE SHOULD BE A WAY TO SHUT OFF STUPID POP UPS. IV'E EVEN TURNED OF THE LAME EXCUSE FOR NOTIFICATION SETTINGS. LOOK, I'M GLAD THIS APP EXISTS, BUT BARELY. JUST CAUSE IT ACHIEVES MY GOAL, DOESN'T EARN A GOOD RATING. ONLY UNOBSTRUCTED WORKFLOW EARNS A GOOD RATING. 1+1=2
1 ★ Edit: changing 5 star rating to 1 star. Thanks for updating an app from something that once let me turn a simple url into a shortcut, to something that's now unusable. What used to take less than 30 seconds, I can no longer do. I've watched your how-to video and fiddled with this for the last hour. Why do people always have to take something that works and "improve" it? Very disappointed. Deleting this app. Finally! Adding .mp3 shortcuts to my home screen was fast & easy.
4 ★ This is a WONDERFUL APP. I'm a tech savvy Android user, but no way an expert. This app allows me to add shortcuts to my Home Screen for simple tasks, like direct access to Bluetooth settings, volumes, etc. So I don't have to page through System Settings menus for frequent/constant use functions. The Only Drawback, and not sure it is one,, is that getting it to create the desired shortcut seemed a tad confusing...at first. But once I got the gist of it -- the system perspective-- it was fine.
5 ★ As a pro user, I want to let you know that I love this update. Making shortcuts for specific things can be difficult. Then I go back 6 months later "how did I do that"? Trying to get my own picture in a pdf. Your app makes this process so much easier. It's actually fun. Great instructions and directions. Thank you for all of this!
5 ★ Shoulda rated long ago. Sry. Use with caution or on a play phone if you aren't sure what you are doing. Whole app together has a very different organizational style than other shortcut makers. I can work it (ADHD seems to help....😝) but to others there might be a bit of a learning curve. Worth it tho - use it right and it has extra features. Thanks, dev . Oh, btw, you should change back the icon. Easier to find when I get a new device and makes it memorable Trust me. old one = $+$. 😸
1 ★ Worst app.... I created shortcut, after that when i open the file(shortcut), i am unable to open..... Problem are arising "file is not accessed. Chek your internet connection or make the file name shorter"
5 ★ If you understand Android modules and functions this is useful. New theme in 3.2.0 a big improvement but light theme in the right swipe menu looks like a dark theme to me. Quite niche but very worthwhile.
5 ★ you can upload pictures to use as an icon, crop and edit the picture too.
