Requirements for creating safe working conditions at workplaces
Labor protection and safety at the enterprise is, first of all, the area of ​​responsibility of the employer and the relevant services of the organization.

The employer is obliged to develop internal regulatory documentation, conduct briefings and knowledge tests in accordance with the requirements of the legislation, inform employees about all the circumstances on which production safety depends.

Also, the employer is obliged to create safe working conditions for employees. For this purpose, a set of requirements is provided:

- use of equipment and structures that meet the requirements of standards and other regulatory documents;
- Compliance with the timing of periodic repairs and equipment maintenance;
- compliance with fire and electrical safety requirements when equipping production and office premises;
- installation of the necessary protective devices and structures;
- provision of sufficient illumination, ventilation, maintenance of optimum temperature conditions at workplaces;
- timely removal of dust and waste;
- provision of workers with workwear and special shoes, as well as other personal protective equipment in accordance with the specifics of production;
- provision of workers with current safety instructions and visual materials;
- creation at workplaces and in production premises of all necessary alarm systems, placement of safety signs, etc.

Safety requirements for workplaces

One of the priority tasks of occupational health and safety is to maintain workplaces and industrial premises in a safe condition. For this purpose, the following requirements:

- each employee, regardless of position and place of work, is responsible for maintaining order in his workplace;
- it is necessary to clean the garbage in a timely manner and keep the workplace clean;
- passageways, corridors, escape routes must remain free;
- laying of cables within workplaces must be carried out in compliance with the requirements of electrical safety;
- when spilling or spilling any substances in the workplace or in industrial premises, cleaning should be done immediately.
