Description
VolCon Volume Control, Lock, and Scheduler
Features:
- Access volume from any app
- Lock each volume so other apps can't change them
- Schedule volume changes (e.g. low at night, medium during the day)
Easily control each type of volume on your phone:
- Ring
- Music
- Notification
- Alarms
VolCon is super convenient. It places itself into the status bar and notification drawer so it's accessible from any app. Just swipe down from the top of the screen to show the notification drawer and click on "VolCon". The app will pop up over any other app.
Note: VolCon presents itself on the screen as a dialog. In other words, unless you have a very small screen, VolCon will not take up the entire screen, only as much as it needs.

Permissions
• FULL NETWORK ACCESS - for in-app purchases
• VIEW NETWORK CONNECTIONS - for in-app purchases
• RUN AT STARTUP - VolCon runs at startup in order to put itself in the Notification Area
• PREVENT FROM SLEEPING - VolCon needs to maintain a lock on the volume that another app is trying to change. That requires this permission. The app doesn't wake up the screen, only the CPU until lock retention is done (very fast).
• BILLING: for in-app billing

4 ★ I like the interface to set times. it was very simple and effective. I like that I didn't need to give permissions for ads to use this app. the app crashed when i opened it and closed a few times successively. it did not crash while setting times and volumes. I haven't seen the app change the volumes according to my settings yet. I just started using it. I think the app is a great start. with a few more features it could be very useful. thanks for developing it. look forward to an update.
5 ★ Simple solution for controlling what volume types gets altered when making changes to any one type of volume! So, no more 'accidentally raising the media volume to full' when trying to raise only the ringer volume!! Thanks.
3 ★ Overall the concept is good but the user interface is confusing. I still do not know how to use it properly after a few months. Either samples have to be provided or the interface needs to be revamped.
5 ★ It works pretty good tired of having to reset the volume it keeps it locked when I want it locked
4 ★ Android has a problem! Of you turn down a You Tube video you also turn down the ring tone, causing missed calls all the time! This app allows you to lock the ring tone volume. Problem solved? Depends which flavour of Google is on your phone, but it works well for me. World give it 5⭐ if it has a widget to show current state of volumes.
1 ★ I installed it to stop my partner from turning the volume up to max when he borrows my phone, but it didn't work. Even when set to "Lock" I could still change volumes.

5 ★ The best volume control and lock app I've found, and I've looked at a number of them. Thus app is steady, predictable, and easy to use. You can set and lock volume for ringtone, notifications, media and alarms individually in one simple screen. No glitches, and virtually no battery usage. Well-done!
5 ★ Its interface is very basic but at least it works properly. It starts up proper and automatically anytime i start up or reboot my phone and it locks the volume controls i want locked such as notifications and ring tones so i dont find out 3 hrs later i missed 10 calls. Bottom line it does what i need it to do and well. I totally agree with other.. No glitches and small footprint (bat & mem usage)

3 ★ I don't like that I cannot lower the volume. I wanted to stop my child from going above a set point, you have it stuck at that exact 75% volume. So I am constantly taking the tablet to fix the volume
5 ★ Fantastic. I had a problem with my note 9 whre it shuts the message alert volume to 0 all the time and Verizon and samsung couldn't figure it out. But this amazing qpp saved the day.
