Go beyond the traditional home security alarm and add home security cameras, lights, locks, thermostats, garage-door openers and other devices to your system. After that, all it takes is a swipe or a tap to control your security and home automation devices and be aware of what s happening at
a moment's notice.
More than basic security
The Brinks Home Security app allows you to interact with your home security alarm system whether you're upstairs or uptown. Use our smart home solution to arm or disarm your system, lock or unlock doors, check the garage
door, or use a video doorbell to see who s there. There s no need to worry about forgetting to secure your house; just check it from wherever you are.
An extra set of eyes
Home security cameras are a popular addition to Brinks Home Security. Live or recorded video let you know what's going on while you're not home. It's easy to keep an eye on kids, pets or property.
Energy management
Smart thermostats are popular not just for convenience but for energy savings. Control your thermostat remotely, set up a schedule that fits your lifestyle, or let your thermostat determine your patterns and adjust
accordingly to maximize savings.
Control your lights
Remote management of your lighting is another great way to save energy. It's also a proven deterrent to would-be burglars, since they like it when no one's home. Keep them wondering by setting a schedule or by turning lights

1 ★ The whole system is terrible, if your looking for a system that really works don't get this system. Cameras don't work when you want, they record things you don't care about and run out your data/ memory for when you do need it. I tried getting out of the contract but they said I need to pay $2500 to cancel. I bought the Blink by Amazon and use that system instead, much better AND cheaper investment if your looking for camera security. Totally regret looking to get cameras installed by Brinks.0⭐
1 ★ Nothing smart about this dated system. Customer service is horrible. App is horrible. Monthly cost is crazy. Always changing systems making you log in to different things. Ring alarm is the way to go. This company is just using the name brinks. It is a mess of a company and app.
1 ★ App does not function well consistently. Constantly having to refresh,delete cache recycle cameras.... Customer service needs major work. Unsatisfied with the company all together. 3 star app!!!!! No Wonder!!!! I will be changing my service. Had I thought I had to check the rating of a company like Brinks I wouldnt be posting this because I would have saw rating! Ill always check from now on. BTW ADT app is 4+ stars. Do Better!!!!! *Update* Your rating dropped to 2.9! PITIFUL!!!!!!!
2 ★ Door bell camera keeps going out, lost my protected videos, once they reset it. Needed the video of suspected person damaging my home. Now don't have to give to police. They need a better system if they restore and have to add your doorbell camera again be sure you download or save the video somewhere else. I had them locked (protected)and now their gone😡😥🤔 when it works it great, but having to many problems lately with it. That is why it only gets 2 🌟.
1 ★ Actually my opinion about app is it's worthless. By the time the noification alert comes to my phone, everything I have to protect in my house would be gone! Sensors and app do not connect in real time. My entry doors can be open for hours but alerts come 1 hour later. I can not figure out why.
1 ★ Terrible they were supposed to send me a new panel... I have spent Numerous times on the phone for hours for someone to send me a new panel and I've never received it. They said it would take 7-10 day's, well it's been more like 30 day still nothing. Then I asked to to cancel the battery the I ordered for my old panel, because I was supposed to be receiving a NEW panel ..they never cancel the battery and charge me for it. What a mess! BRINKS REPLY BACK WITH OTHERS ARE THEY CAN'T LOCATE YOUR ACCT
1 ★ Had them for two years stuck in a 3 year contract camera take forever to load most of the time it doesn't load can't wait for my contract to be up worse Decision I ever made had to go buy camera's that work don't make the same mistake I did.
1 ★ I have a new phone. Trying to login. All passwords don't work. Then I have to enter a security question, which I go back on my old device. There's an empty security answer. I can't change it because I don't know the password, which is my entire problem. You guys need to FIX this ASAP. It shouldn't be this difficult to switch to a different device with the same email, with knowledge of username, etc
2 ★ Not that great. Sometimes camera is on but grainy. Now all of a sudden push notifications stopped. Everything is enabled in app and phone and nothing. Annoying.
1 ★ Ihave the app on my phone. i work from out of town and two thirds of the time the cameras are buffering. motion sensor on out cam does nothing.
2 ★ Could be easier for settings, to make changes, you have to go to so many different areas to make changes. Or you have go to the website to do some of it. What's the point of an app if you can't have it done there.
1 ★ I changed a battery in a window contacts sensor but the app still shows low batteries and no help from the so called help line. I regret everything about Brinks.
4 ★ I wish there was a way to get docs on the app rather than going to the website, logging in and searching or calling the conditioner service line
