Download the latest DLNAServer application, version 2.14, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Tools app is developed by Oleg A and is easy to download and install.
Previous versions, including 2.14, 2.13, are also available. If you need help or have any problems, please let us know.
Description
There is support playlists (m3u, m3u8, pls) just specify the playlist file.
Now server supports getting data from SMB and FTP. Just add Network share like: smb://user:pass@server/share or ftp://user:pass@server:port/ftpdir
If you get errors, feel free to send me a log from the app settings.

DLNAServer 2.14 APK requires following permissions:
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an application to manage access to documents, usually as part of a document picker.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to enter Wi-Fi Multicast mode.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Permission an application must hold in order to use ACTION_REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS.

4 ★ The app is genuinly good. It's minimalistic interface suits it well. I fact, it's one of a kind for someone who needs dlna streaming from their phone. However, there are minor issues. In particular, there seem to be no way to list all albums irrespective of artists (one can enable Artists folder). Also folder names are unusual, i.e. "Audios"

5 ★ Only thing that works honestly, all the other apps are full of ads or just don't work, so I'd say this is the best to use for setting a background on your xbox one or whatever device you have.
4 ★ Very good. Only problem I have is that it runs all the time even when I stop it starts again? I don't seem to be able to select when it runs

5 ★ Perfect for wirelessly viewing local media on the Oculus Quest w/VR media player (recommend Pigasus) without having to transfer media to headset compromising Quest available memory.
