Description
To manage Sony Enterprise devices AirWatch console version 7.2 is recommended. Please follow these steps to deploy to your Sony device:
1. You must download, install the AirWatch MDM Agent available in the Google Play
2. You may now enroll like normal and you will be prompted to install the Sony service during enrollment
Sony devices are enterprise ready with enhanced security and management capabilities. Remotely manage settings, policies, applications and functionality on Sony devices. MDM Features include:
1. Device Restrictions
2. Native Mail Client Configuration
3. VPN Network Setup
4. Blacklisting Apps
5. Whitelisting Apps
6. Internal Storage and SD Card Encryption

AirWatch Sony Service 2.2.0 APK requires following permissions:
Allows applications to change network connectivity state.
Allows applications to write the sync settings.
Allows applications to read the sync settings.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an application to read the low-level system log files.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.
Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.
Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.
Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Allows applications to read the sync stats.
This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to install packages.
Allows an application to clear the caches of all installed applications on the device.
Allows an application to delete packages.
Allows formatting file systems for removable storage.
Allows mounting and unmounting file systems for removable storage.
Allows applications to disable the keyguard if it is not secure.
Allows an application to read or write the system settings.
Allows an application to call killBackgroundProcesses(String].
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an application to delete cache files.
Allows an application to expand or collapse the status bar.
Allows an application to open, close, or disable the status bar and its icons.

1 ★ This app did nothing. A shame because i bought Sony XZ2 to use for corporate to replace my iphone and will have to probably return it when they tell me i cant have it on the corporate network. Please update this app soon. I will give you logs if I have to. Thanks.
1 ★ Consistent pop ups after first use. This app is half baked and not fully stability tested. Going through hell getting this crap uninstalled. Poor release
1 ★ Keeps crashing continuously. Are u guys doing anything to improve this application? Everyone is complaining but there is no solution????
1 ★ Even after I finished the installation, not yet even open the program, it already show a notification that the program is not responding... Try to open but the samething happen, and this time it can not be closed, have to use the home button and uninstall the application...
3 ★ Maybe this includes a few extra security features, now I am slowly getting used to it, like all new apps this one will also take its own good time to get u accustomed. Till then just be patient.
