1 ★ I was looking for a good deal on a room. After looking at agoda's deals, I realized Expedia had a better price, so I booked though Expedia, and stayed the night. Two days later, agoda's charged me for a night's stay, without me even going to the charge screen. Of course, they won't refund my money, either, because it says on, "...their end," that I purchased the room through them. What a crock! Don't waste your money going to this site. They will screw you!

1 ★ This app gave me an error message on a booking, took me back to the hotel's info page showing a rise in price, and didn't confirm the booking in-app; so, assuming the price had changed on the hotel's end, or some other sort of common-enough error, I booked for the same dates at a different hotel. Lo and behold, turns out that first booking went through 'on their end', and no refunds could be got for either. If anyone reading this has had a similar experience, please hmu about organizing...

1 ★ Absolutely terrible customer service. They have no free number to call worldwide and they are impossible to reach by phone, so you're paying for an hour of an international call. You can't real time chat with a person. You get AI boilerplate "we have your money buzz off" rhetoric. They twice left me stranded with no place to stay and did not help. I've also had two really bad places that were moldy, unhealthy, smelly, and they won't move you or compensate. Booking is better, even in Asia.

3 ★ I find the app to have way too many popups which distracts from the overall booking process. 20% off this, 30% off that, use this discount code, etc. It's annoying. Also, the site is a bit buggy. Wrote a property review recently but it never showed up. Got a final reminder email to leave a review, so I clicked to resubmit one but then it says no properties to review. Not going to waste time writing reviews that arent going to post. Going to try using their sister site, Booking, going forward.

4 ★ Got a great deal, about a tenner less than on the hotel website! Also got a discount code which saved me a few quid too. They just need to sort the app because you have to input the login code multiple times, cos when you go off it, it goes back to the login, even though you've already done that part. It's the same when you go off the app to check something when you're already looking at a hotel room, it goes back to the main screen rather than staying on the page you were on.

2 ★ The mobile app is limited and i found it frustrating.1. Made a total of 5 hotel bookings for a trip. 1 booking was paid immediately - no hazzle. 1 booking was to pay on arrival. I wanted to pay immediately, but that option was not available. 3 bookings was 'pay later'. It offered the option to pay immediately. So I started to 'attempt' paying now. The first one went through my account, but the booking still reflects as 'to pay later'. The other 2 bookings, just bounce back to the booking. Flaws

1 ★ It used to be great. Until recently the app got glitchy and finally they got a double booking on my booking and they keep denying that it was their issues. I ask if theres anything i can do and they insist on giving them proof of error while i show them the double booking they insist that a min difference was insufficient. Really disappointed they drop from my fav travel app to the bottom. I recommend not using their saved card function and manually key in everytime. To prevent double booking.

2 ★ It's good, been using for a while and the steps to book are easy and convenient. However, now I can't open my inbox at all as it shows either 'unexpected application error' or 'something went wrong - try again'. I had questions to hosts and the property but I won't be able to read any replies should this continue.

1 ★ Very bad experience. I had booked a room in a resort directly from the agoda website for a specific date but when the payment happened, the dates were changed without notifying me and so the room got booked for wrong dates. I immediately tried to contact the customer support but I don't think you have a dedicated line for it. 90% of the amount got deducted in a matter of 5 minutes for cancellation. I paid a huge amount for nothing. Can't trust you anymore for bookings. Really disappointed.

1 ★ Needed a room while traveling in a foreign country. Decided to use Agoda since hotel didn't have website to book directly. Advertised a 10% discount for booking 1st time, I didn't notice any discount, actually price was increased 9% during the booking process. I probably won't use this app again and don't recommend.

2 ★ Prices passed through to sites/apps like TripAdvisor and shown initially are false; they add high taxes at checkout. Constantly attempts to gameify the experience like AliExpress/Temu with offers, coloured banners for discounts, claims of prices only being available for XX minutes (which just isn't true). It's incredibly distracting making the relevant information harder to see, and the continued attempts to pressure you into purchasing makes me more likely to give up and use other apps instead.

1 ★ The Agoda application is getting worse and worse, the discount voucher has been distributed but cannot be used, even though I have used the discount to the minimum price that must be paid, but the voucher cannot be used, I am very, very disappointed with Agoda, I have done it many times transacted on Agoda, but it's very difficult to get a price discount, I'M REALLY VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH AGODA

1 ★ I'm very much disappointed with this app. Sometimes, the prices are higher (even with offers) than the official hotel websites. Recently, I got upgraded to vip gold. Ever since then, the app hasn't allowed me to book the hotel with lower prices. Before payment, it says please select a different room. This happened every time when i tried to book some cheaper hotels, but it didn't happen when i booked a 3-star hotel. It's a scam 😒. I would not recommend this app to anyone.

2 ★ The app often crashes and freezes during price calculations. Many coupons and promotions seem more like distractions than real deals, with only a few automatic discounts actually applying. Support is hard to reach, often providing unhelpful, generic FAQ responses. While the app can be useful when functional, it's unreliable for frequent travelers like me.

1 ★ Terrible terrible experience as a host. First of all the app does not function properly for to make necessary changes. You get proxy bookings and they all get randomly cancelled occupying you calender and you will charged big amount to cancel a booking yourself. Their customers service is non existing, and the information you given on the phone never matches the reality. I have charged for a booking possiblly doesn't even existed at the first place and there is no way to challenge it!!!
