My AEG Care 6.3.1.8003 APK requires following permissions:

4 ★ Did not receive activation email so can't log in. Can't retry because my email has already been used to create an account

2 ★ Doesn't find machine and often when it does it fails to register despite having a strong signal. This improved only after I got a new router that supported WiFi 5 (replacement not related). The notification part has been updated and I can FINALLY choose the types (before it only showed "No notifications"). However it still does NOT PUSH them. You can only view them in the app and after the app connects to the machine... Final disappointment is that I dislike dark themes - it is hard to read. Also it is hard to distinguish cycles that are available through the machine and ones that are not. I should be able to set more favorite shortcuts / programs via the app as the app has no limit like the machine does.

1 ★ An embarrassment to AEG. Referenced in the front of the machine but machine has to have wireless to connect with the App. My AEG machine does not have wireless. What is the point of suggesting I download the app?? Pointless waste of time.

1 ★ Unable to connect with my dryer. Dryer and phone are in the same network, signal strength 4/5, I can see the IP on the dryer, MAC address but the app on the phone doesn't find it no matter what I try.

1 ★ Can't log in. Ceated acount and It's verified. Have also cleared the data/cache and reset the password without any luck. Acount created in Norway with Galaxy s20 Ultra

1 ★ Limited products available to choose from. I have an induction hob .. which is not available to select. So the app is useless for me. Not sure why AEG advised me to download the app in the welcome email!!

1 ★ Unable to connect dryer :(, wifi works with the washing machine

1 ★ Stopped working on two phones Will not let me reset password as its totally stopped working. Get it fixed as the smart washer is basically junk without it. Maybe I should return washing machine will that make you fix this app.

1 ★ I've been trying to get the app to work for a few weeks now, without success. It either fails with message such as 'something went wrong' or it just gets stuck eternally upon startup. Without the app, more than half of the features of my appliance are unavailable. If the developers of this app read this, please fix it! If I cannot get the app to work, I have to return my AEG appliance to the shop and buy some other brand.

3 ★ The setup is everything but user friendly. You really need to read the manual and follow all the steps precisely. After struggling with it for half an hour and after reading the manual carefully, I was able to set it up. But why does the machine need to reconnect every time? Can't it just stay connected? It's stupid that you load the washer and then wait 45seconds for it to connect! Also, the so does not give you any signal that the cycle ended. Make it simple and get rid of reconnections.

1 ★ Most frustrating app experience in a long time. First - trying to sign up fails, so it's waiting for a confirmation email that never arrives. Then using "forgot password" works, but signin still fails. Suddenly signin works without any good reason why it should start working, but the app displays an error message for every second selection. Then nothing works again, and you can't sign in - even though you still have the same password. Restarting the app results it in just staying on the initial startup screen (with a spinner) and nothing else happening. Reinstalling fixes that, but then you have to sign in again - and trying to set a new password results in a password link being sent that has already been used - so you can't change the password again. Using the tip below of DISABLING WIFI on your phone to make a wifi enabled product work -- suddenly signin actually worked! And after enabling wifi, I were able to find my appliance and add it - but it got stuck on the "name your appliance" screen, where it just looped back to the "name your appliance" again and again and again without any error message. Just quitting that screen then shows the appliance being properly named as I entered. Sorry, but this is one of the worst examples of "we made an app for a physical product, but didn't spend a day using it ourselves under different, real world conditions". Luckily I didn't buy the appliance for the wifi integration; in that case I'd return the appliance itself instead.

1 ★ It doesn't send activate email. I tried "forget my password" to push it send message to me. Then, I go to stage "enable notification". It sucks. It flashes the screen with errors, leading to nothing. Some error called "internal server error". I can see that not only me as a customer having this trouble, some comments from November 2020. Hei the team of this app, do something to fix it. Or you should not put this feature/app on air.

3 ★ Ive edited this review and given an extra two stars as its actually now working with my washing machine 9000 series...most of the time. Having started with ' awful app' last time, my washing machine eventually registered with the app and i have some sort of functionality. However, still feels flakey and i do expect better from a big brand like AEG especially when smart features are a selling point.

1 ★ First of all I did not receive the activation email, then i used the recover password feature which worked and activated the account. When I login in to the app it goes to activate notifications instantly, if I click the back button it goes tothe homescreen and then instantly get directed back to the notification screen. When I login again at the notification screen it is stuck in an endless loop of logging in, "internal server error" logging in again and so on (forever until you close the app).

2 ★ Stoped working about 3 weeks ago. After sucesfull login it's asking for aditional login and results with unknown error. We managed to fix the problem: 1. When on wifi and asking for the second login. Turn of the wifi and we got back to app through LTE connection. 2. Try restart while on LTE and if asked for the password try once more and it was accepted. This helped on both of our phones. Definitely a bug and should be fixed.
