1 ★ Lots of shows unavailable, lots of shows broken.

4 ★ Great app, but sharing button doesn't work

5 ★ After Spotify mangled their UI and removed my downloaded podcasts with their latest update, I needed to find an alternative for podcasts. This app has been a breath of fresh air and I am very thankful for the simplicity here. The UI is intuitive and user friendly. Shows and episodes are presented in a way that makes sense. There were only a couple locally produced shows that aren't available here which surprised me. I plan to be here for the foreseeable future.

3 ★ Great at downloading and playing podcasts, but the organization is annoying and makes it difficult to use. I should be able to sort my downloads by show and by newest/oldest, instead of just most to least recently downloaded. And I should be able to jump to a specific episode in a show, sort by season, or at least have a scroll bar I can use to navigate faster through the episode list. Those would all be simple additions that would make the app much more functional and easier to use.

1 ★ Screaming Volume Ads...... what's that about?

1 ★ Horrible podcast app. I tried it out because it gets a lot of mentions but not worth the effort. When casting to speakers it was buggy and did not let me pause the podcast at all. Then when I closed out of the app it restarted from the beginning and did not save my play time. The layout and lack of customization to your list is sub par. I'm going back to pocket cast.

3 ★ I love the app but from the past few months, it doesn't allow me to download some episodes and it doesnt allow me to even play few episodes. It says 'this show is currently unavailable', I tried playing other episodes but it says the same thing. But when I reopen the app the same episode starts to play.

5 ★ Best podcast App I have tried so far. There are ads at times in some podcasts but that is a bit of money for those making the podcasts so I do not mind. Love the sharing feature where you can, not just share a podcast, but the exact time within the podcast. Wish more podcasters would join the "Avast revolution"!

1 ★ 1. Frequently loses position when I resume a podcast. 2. Frequently says episode not availiable and have to reboot many times. 3. Even though I set it to play next episode that usually fails too. 4. Loses the current list of episodes and have to search the show again to refresh this.

4 ★ Occasional glitches mean I switch to Spotify for periods. Mainly this is new episodes of shows taking longer to land than on other platforms and, more frequently, I can't download episodes despite good network connection. Normally resolved in 2 to 3 hours.

5 ★ Great app! Super functional and free of creepy algorithms. This app brings back the thrill of hunting for hidden gems. Love it!

4 ★ Minor gripe: I wish that the My Library button at the bottom would just automatically take us to our subscriptions, and I wish the app would take us straight to subscriptions when launched. Otherwise a pretty solid app.

2 ★ I subscribe to several podcasts. The podcasts are displayed in a list with very similar icons which makes it hard to identify a podcast from a particular content provider. I'd prefer if the new content was grouped by provider.

4 ★ In a lot of ways it's better than Spotify. Just not as many podcasts available. No app adds only in podcast. I really like its simplicity. I haven't experienced any glitches and I've used Acast for years. Every now and then in the early days some of my podcast subscribes would disappear and I'd have to resubscribe. But that hasn't happened in a while. It could've been a feed issue with the early problems with self broadcasting.

2 ★ Keeps cutting out halfway through my podcasts and telling me the episode is unavailable. Recently tried a new device, same problem. That's after having to resubscribe to everything and lose all my playlists etc. Because customer services were worse than useless. 2nd star is for the selection, but that selection is ultimately pointless if I can't listen well. Giving up and moving to a different platform.
