Due to the restriction of Android, the app usage can only be tracked when you are using the app and the screen is on.
► APP USAGE HISTORY
Do you know how much time you spend on an app? Do you know the total use time of a day or the average use time of an app?
It lists the usage time of apps by your preferred sorting order. This usage information is helpful for you to check which apps should be uninstalled as they are not used. It can also be used for spying whether an app has been used by someone else.
► CHECK PHONE HISTORY
Do you know how many times a day that you check your phone?
It shows the daily count that you checked on your phone in either a bar chart or calendar view.
► ACTIVITY HISTORY
Do you know the time that you open Messaging or E-Mail app in a day?
It shows the time that you open an app in either a timeline or calendar view.
► NOTIFICATION HISTORY
It shows you the number of notifications you received for each day and the time that an app posted the notification.
► OVER-USE REMINDER
It reminds you of when you spend on phone or apps for a long time.
► MOST USED APPS
It shows a list of your most used apps on widgets or system notifications. It's a convenient way to quickly start the apps you use most frequently. The more you use it, the better it gets.
► TRACK ALL INSTALLS
It tracks and lists the history of all installed and uninstalled apps by your preferred sorting order. It's convenient for you to track how many apps are updated in a day, and how frequent updates of an app.

App Usage - Manage/Track Usage 5.81 APK requires following permissions:

Declaring the permission implies intention to use the API and the user of the device can grant permission through the Settings application.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.
Allows an app to access approximate location.

3 ★ I don't want the overuse phone time usage be reminded through notification... I only want the overuse time of preffered/selected apps be notified...how can I set it??

5 ★ Update 3: Dev has explained to me that due to privacy restrictions in Android, App Usage cannot track URLs visited in-browser. I get that, but it is lamentable and not the dev's fault. Sadly, if one mixes browser usage and apps usage to do similar tasks (i.e. read news, shop, etc), then one cannot fully track one's daily activity by category. All browser activity gets lumped into one bucket. That's a bummer. Still, App Usage is the best in class on Google Play.
5 ★ Decided to rate it five stars due to the incredibly fair PRO version. It's super cheap, gives you the ability to pay with a one off payment which is an absolute god send, the app tracks data super accurately and is really open about how it does so and where it stores it. Well done, this is a really well made app. (Not too sure about the dark mode colours though ;) )
5 ★ I didn't get my money back!! But although it was long time ago! Even after unsuccessful attempt of paying for subscription! I tried for 2nd time and it worked efficiently! Now I have been using this app more than a year!! And using its pro features! I like to collect data so it's an amazing app for me!!

5 ★ Really like this app. Free, simple, does what it says. Question: why does the Timeline sometimes show, eg, "Screen Off 3h 05 mins" and sometimes only shows "Screen Off" ? I THINK it's since the latest update that it doesn't always show the duration? Please bring it back as I really like this feature!
5 ★ Awesome app and great support. Other usage type apps drained my battery and wouldn't provide the export of my data like this one does. It is a great app and if used appropriately, it can change our lives.

1 ★ this app doesn't work at all... only works for a day if you keep using it.. then it just dies. again to make this work you will have to open it regularly
