Now when you 'Run' an event with the existing Agenda, at the end of allotted time of agenda item the button changes colour to Orange and blinks.

Hangout On Air is a very powerful technology from Google. There are many ways to describe it. But let me give you a few short points.
• It is a Video Conferencing facility available to everyone who has any sort of account with Google – may be Gmail may be Google Plus – and it is free.
• It is a Video Recording facility since your video conference gets recorded as a video on YouTube.
• It allows anybody anywhere in the world who has internet access to have their own TV Broadcasting Channel via YouTube.
• It allows people from different parts of the world socialise so much so that they would all feel as if they are in the same room!
Because of this power there are lots of Scheduled shows that are broadcast live on air using this technology.
With this immense power; you now have lots of responsibility. Technology from Google changes everyday. This means to run a show smoothly you need to understand the technology and be able to use it without difficulty.
Imagine – you have a great Hangout On Air Show Scheduled in a few days time, you have a fabulous co-host and the two of you help each other in hosting a great show.
So you prepare well in advance – you make a list of points to be covered during the show, you make a plan of action and put in lot of efforts and energy into the upcoming event.
It is the day of the event, and you are hosting a lively Hangout On Air Show.
The panel members are very much engaged and the discussion is very lively and ……
….you loose track of time because as a host you are enjoying it so much.
Then what happens? The clock reminds you that you have gone over time and you are slowly loosing your audience because you along with panel members had too much fun but the audience did not feel involved.
Or worse you find that you forgot to cover the most important points that you had spent hours working on before the show and you wish you had some way of reminding thing, a tool or something that would gently keep you on track, that would gently remind you the agenda you have set.
Remember trying to run another app on your computer that you use for the live hangout is further going to load your computer and everything would slow down and as a result nothing would work.
So there is no hope then is it?
NO! There is hope! You have other devices – may be a mobile phone or a tablet device that you wish you could use in addition to your computer.
Well, here at Wake; we have seen that happen during our weekly hangouts. So we have created an app that can help you enjoy the lively discussion during the live show without loosing track of the agenda you have set yourself.
We now have an Android App that can run on your Android phone or on your Android Tablet and be a helpful too for you to keep track of your Agenda items and the timings. Why Android? Because Android is from Google and there is a natural possibility that Google itself would add more integration in future and Wake is in the business of Technology Integration – so it makes absolute sense.
RunSHOA is an Android app designed specifically to keep track of your Agenda and help you during your HOA.
It not only helps you plan the Agenda with your co-hosts by allowing you to share the Agenda with your co-hosts and possible guests, but also helps you run your HOA as per that Agenda.
It keeps the timings for you and reminds you when you have exceeded the time you alloted for a particular agenda with a notification sound and a reminder to start the next item on your Agenda.
