Description
In the context of the GDPR, many clubs are asking themselves whether messenger services/apps such as WhatsApp can still be used in the club at all. The data is usually stored by the services in other countries and there is often no control over what happens to the personal data of the members. Many terms of use also prohibit use in a non-private environment. In addition, double maintenance of the member data in these apps is necessary.
The Wirtschaftsvereinigung Wolfsburg App is GDPR compliant and takes these legal requirements fully into account. Here app members can invite other members and network. The invitees must first agree to the invitation before you can send messages to these friends. Users can form their own groups from their own friends, through which all group members can exchange messages. IMPORTANT: External friends do not have access to internal club data (member data, etc.).
